I can't believe there isn't already a thread about this. Does anyone have ANY information on Faurlin's condition? I saw the leg braces and I now firmly believe that we have an FA Cup curse. Please say Faurlin is ok!!!!!
Im pretty sure it's because no one actually has any idea what's wrong. To be honest, im fearing the worst from how it sounded.
From the Fulham Chronicle website: QPR wait on Faurlin injury please log in to view this image QPR are sweating on the fitness of Ali Faurlin after the midfielder was stretchered off in the FA Cup draw at MK Dons. The Argentine suffered a knee injury in the dying minutes as Heidar Helguson's lasts-gasp leveller earned Rangers a replay on Tuesday week. However, boss Neil Warnock will be hoping the injury to Faurlin isn't serious as his struggling side bid to beat the drop. He said: “We won't know anything for 24, maybe 48 hours. “We'll see if we can get it scanned tomorrow but we might have to wait until Monday. “He went over and hurt himself. Poor old Ale. We'll just have to wait and see what the news is.” Read More http://www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/lo...-faurlin-injury-82029-30078266/#ixzz1inyuqW00
and the replay means Barton's back for wigan game now ............. do hope though Ali aint as bad as it looked
at least now our passing is narrowed down to either the opposition or backwards. the sideways option is out the question
Might not be as bad as it looked. My son did his knee playing rugby today. Consensus at pitchside and the ambulance guys was that he had snapped the cruciate and/or anterior ligaments. After several hours in A&E and an X ray turns out to be multiple pulls and twists - physio, two weeks on crutches, back in contact sport a month. This without the intensive support available to a professional. Still fear for us without Ali for any games, he has been an oasis of class for us all season.
yeah, like coz today we had so many amazing off the ball runs from our industrious front line me and Ali both missed ........... glad you saw them though
mmmmm, i dont mind you CB but it sure sounded a lot worse, i can only hope. look on the bright side, Routledge didn't do too badly last season did he?
Ali getting injured as nearly as bad news as the possibility of Neil getting sacked. Even 4 weeks is a disaster. Beginning to think we should pull out of the FA Cup and let MK go through. Last time Mackie now Ali- its not worth the risk.
Ali will be ok. That boy is made of stern stuff, never been injured before. This is just a scare, back for Wigan.
Considering Ali may not even be able to have a scan until tomorrow due to swelling around the joint etc how anyone (Cerny) can say they've heard its four weeks is beyond me. Anything you do hear at this moment in time is speculation, guess work or made up bollocks. However I do hope it is only 4.
