Just back from MK Franchise game, with heavy heart. Somethings died, but not sure what. Is it the players, the fans or just football ?

Half the players generally looked like they didnt want to be there, no real passion on pitch except for the usuals. Even at entrance when players coach turned up, only Mackie and Warnock looked interested in fans. Both took time to sign progs and have photoes took .......... all the others just blanked the kids and walked straight through eyes straight forward.............. you may be QPR players, but you aint no Real Madrid or Barcelona guys, ok

5000+ fans there today, great turnout. Felt good seeing us fill that end. Now I know assigned seat tickets dont help, but where the hell was the singing. Ive been away with 300 and heard more support. I hate hearing twa*s booing our players, but thats what was happening. Thats not what I was brought up on. Hands up if you were one of the twa*ts singing "premiership, we're having a laugh" ........... what is that going to do to the players, ferkin' pra*s

Or have I just woken up and realised football has just changed beyond all recognition.

I want players playing with passion (even sh*t players with passion), I want fans supporting my team, yeah I might want terracing, bovril, to pay cash on the day, players talking to excited kids, muddy pitches, tackles to wince at without yellows for sneezing too loudly nearer a player. If that means being in third flight again, I think i'd take it to be honest, after today.

Warnock is getting alot of stick, but I want some stability in the manager front FFS aint we had too many revolver door managers over past few years. Reckon he could have bought his boots today, and done a job on the pitch. We aint gonna get anyone much better than warnock, what the ferk do the doubters want .............. Sven or someother big name only interested in a big payoff packet after spanking £100m cash on 3 mates from the past

Somethings died and I want my Rangers back ............ am I alone ?

You're right, there was something not quite right with the game and the atmosphere today.
The first 15 minutes of the game I thought the fans were very vocal and showed great support, but as time moved on the players gave us no reason to get excited or show support. QPR slowed the tempo of the game down today, and that impacted the atmosphere around the ground. I think our fans were ready to go there and give a good account of ourselves, but the players didnt seem interested in the game, and I think that led to the fans getting annoyed and showing their discontent.
"Premiership youre having a laugh" - That moment was maybe the worst moment in my time supporting QPR. Maybe worse than a relegation, cos atleast when we got relegated, we went down together. Fair enough we blamed a few people along the way, but it was never our own players, or our own club.

    You R'ssssssssssssssss

I thought a lot of the players looked as though they'd have rather been anywhere other than out there playing today!! What the **** is going on!!?

"We aint gonna get anyone much better than warnock".....are you serious? Then we're f***ed. Standards and expectations have risen ten fold in the last decade. It's the era we're in - instant results and less time to achieve them. Sounds like you're stuck in a time warp.

The FA Cup used to be something special, sadly, it is nothing more than an irritating sideshow to many teams that have higher priorities for League matches. Whatever you think of him Ken Bates wasn't far off the mark with his public rant at how the competition has been devalued. Our record over the past 12 years in this competition is a disgrace for a club that has spent 9 of those years in the 2nd tier. Perhaps if clubs that lost had to refund their fans gate money there might be a bit more passion shown on the pitch...

Lower leagues are full of Leeds, Forests, Derbys, Birminghams, Leceisters, Burnleys and Coventrys who all chased the instant results ............. i want us to have the stability that the Evertons, Stokes, Arsenal, even Wolves et all seem to get.

Who we gonna attract that will will stay long enough when the going gets tough, to be with us long enought to get atlesast one birthday party in before cashing in on a sacking ? Olly was a crap manager tactic wise, but he would walk over hot coals for QPR ............... i reckon Colin would and all ........ i dont want no johnny come lately sacked from 16 other clubs in past 4 seasons thanks

The performance today highlights whats going on on the training ground and behind closed doors. The players look like they did when BE and Flav were picking the team.

Maybe you are onto the real problem here Jalfrezi. Many of us were worried that an influx of money would destroy the soul of our club. Perhaps there were just too many new players too quickly? May be the Bartons and Bothroyds etc. are seriously bad for the club? The trouble is that regardless of how passionate some players maybe for the club, if they are not good enough, they are not good enough. God, this is depressing! Is there a smilely of a man holding his head in his hands?

I've just pretty much wasted a very decent bottle of red, for all the enjoyment I got from it I may have well had a bottle of cheap plonk. Can you give us a full report of your boy's match tomorrow?

I was there and our away support is fantastic ,but its a plastic stadiumwith no atmosphere and no top tier.It reminded me we need to be careful what we wish for, I would not swap a padded seat for what Loftus Road gives us. The team today looked for the first 20 mins like they were at a practice match and then could not step up. We dont seriously need a cup run this year, just to stay up will be enough.I would not be surprised if Warnock was not happy with HH adding another game to our fixture list. Who we bring in in the next 10 days and how quickly they gel will define our season. We can pick up points in the next 10 games !!

Someone on Twitter is claiming that DJ and NW have had a falling out over lack of game time. They also claim DJ asked for a move or be played so NW said bye..... could explain the lack of togetherness if that is going on behind the scenes.

There are very few better than Neil, and we won't get them or they are not available. In any case now is totally the wrong time to change your Manager.

Passion, yes that is what is dying from the game. Go back to the 70s when you had the terraces and the grounds would be like a cauldron. Look at stadiumMK, created in the image of the arsehole who stole a club and you may as well be in a doctor's waiting room.

Talking of passion, take a look at Paulo DiCanio, now that guy has passion oozing from every pore. How long was Leon Clarke at Loftus Road producing f*ck all? He hadn't been at Swindon more than a week before DiCanio had him by the throat, I'd love to see how he'd handle Adel...
