Proud Fox listening to a game instead of going to it???? No!! Surely not? Mind you it's a hell of a trek from Lesteristan to Nottingham!!
Was there any hints towards or about anything we might not have known yet in the interviews on Blunderside? Didn't listen in..
more or less barmby hanging up his boots, joshua king looking on and maybe another name as well as him next week
any one else get a tad emotional when Nicky said he'd played his last game? it was a nice win with a second string team but a sad day as we'll never see Nick play in the black and amber again..
Very sad to see him hang up the boots, but he's a clever bloke and he knows player/manager don't really work in todays game. Can't believe the idiots who were moaning at him for taking his time with the decision to become manager full time. What a hard choice, hang your boots up and manage the club but never play for City again or keep playing but don't take the job.
Hopefully if we don't go up he'll have kept himself in reasonable shape and he can play in a preseason game against Tottenham or something to give himself one last appearance for us. (since we usually use 22 players in friendlies anyway can't harm for him to have a half)
With Sharpe set for Leicester, any chance of us buying Waghorn? Would now be 5th choice, great partner for Fryatt, could play in hole in todays 4-4-1-1, Koren and McKenna at CM, any from Stewart, Brady, King, Evans, Koren (against tough teams have two more defensive minded midfielders), Garcia, Pulsic on flanks Reckon 1.5 - 2m could seal it
I doubt it. Waghorn was brought here by Pearson which means he wants him and therefore probably wants him there at Leicester too. And a bid accepted does not mean the transfer is done. Anything could snag that potential deal.
Billy sharp stated he was in no rush and I got the impression he wouldn't necessarily take the first offer, only time will tell.
