They enjoy the top sides it would seem
Three draws just lately, there have been,:emoticon-0112-wonde
    But realistically
    Four it shouldn´t be
When Preston come visit our team

And though this banana skin lurks
The points lost v Donny still irks,<grr>
    So I´m sure PL
    And the lads know well
A win here would repair the works

Even though some old boys return
With plenty of energy to burn,
    At Barnsley last week
    We reached a new peak<magic>
I don´t think this chance we will spurn

For the shock we had, last home game<yikes>
Should ensure we maintain our aim,
    When tomorrow comes
    But crossing my thumbs
And fingers, I´ll be, all the same

And if we have the bulk of the play
Maybe things will just go our way,
    So that our ´goals for´
    Could be a few more
Now that would round off a good day. <ok> OTBC

I think even with my cautious optimism, I´m prepared to accept that a good solid home win could just be on the cards.

Hi RBF. You're right, surely we won't slip up this time. I'm quietly confident. <cheers>

As you say rbf, I hope that the shock, dejection and feeling of defeat after the last home game will be enough to see us take more of our chances tomorrow. First game I've been able to get to for a month or so - my fingers are crossed for a 7 - 0 spanking! Still, I'm worried that Phil Brown hasn't won a game at Preston yet, it has got to happen sooner or later! From what I can gather last week's formation seems to be the answer to our second striker problem, which is certainly a blessing. I think Preston will be tough to break down though, and I sincerely hope that wont mean our fans start moaning and/or being quiet. Now is the time to REALLY get behind the boys and sing our hearts out for the whole 90 mins! Only 6 home games left, why waste them moaning! I swear some sections of Carrow Road are partly to blame for our slightly dodgy home form this season.

Liking that idea Jack! 7-0 and a roaring atmosphere should do it. For a change I'll be sitting in the middle of the City stand (instead of riverend), so it'll be good to see lots of goals go in both ends.
However, its likely that Preston will be trying their hardest to get up from the bottom. I'll be glad with any winning scoreline.

    and nice one rbf.

Hijack, I´m afraid I can´t back you up on the 7-0, nice as that would be, but hopefully PL will give last weeks´s formation another airing, and if they can hit that form again, then I´d settle for a 2 or 3-0.

Preston's recent performance's have been a lot more spirited, it's wrong to assume they're still the whipping boys of the Championship. That said, we are still the hot favourites for a win.
