This is a little ray of hope perhaps? As long as GW sorts the rest of the team out!

Some good news. He needs service otherwise he is anonymous, like he has been the last 3 games. That's not being critical of him, he is a goal scorer and a good one at that. I can see why Fulham would want to leave him out on loan as he needs to do more to make it in the Premier League. He's already shown he can be the difference for us when we play the poorer teams in the division and that appears to be our only chance at the moment.

this is very good news but the defence must be our priority! trotta needs service, but when he does he is lethal!

fingers crossed. I agree that we need to sort defence but goals win games.........Id go as far as to say that our season could well depend on whether or not we keep Trotta.

agree there if we can sort out the defence a bit! it doesnt even have to be perfect, just as long as they only concede as many goals as trotta is able to score!!!

The worrying thing from a defensive point of view is that Leon is our best defender and he is now out injured. Tunni and Foster are definitely not cut out for this division. Marvin is up and down and Basey I am not entirely sold on. Winfield is very Jekyll and Hyde. The fact is we need near on a whole new defence!!

I didn't think basey was as bad as everyone made out yesterday. He's definitely better than Sandell was or Foster is when he plays at left back and he'll do. I also think if Mccoy had a run of matches in the team he'd be excellent, but being left out of the team so often is really stinting his progress. I think we need 2 new centre backs though and get out Tunnicliffe, who is dreadful. Also get a new full back and get Foster out, although that might be difficult seeing as we gave him a 2 year contract.

Otherwise, I think we need 2 new centre midfielders, hopefully someone big. We also need a new winger and send back the ineffective McNamee. Also need a new striker to push Beavon and Trotta.

get rid of mcnamee, get harris back in the team. cm, i would happily settle for 1 very good signing + bloomfield. striker, matt mcclure is very highly rated by waddock evidently so get him in the squad to push all the other unpreformers back into action.

I am surprised with your comment regarding McNamee. I think he's got fantastic pace and he's got goals in him. That curling goal a few matches ago was amazing.

McNamee is one of those players that comes on loan, plays really well a couple of matches then gets lazy and never does anything again. We've had a lot of those in the past, scott davies and john akinde spring into mind. Against Stevenage and Huddersfield he was useless and looked like he couldn't be bothered.

Yes, I know what you mean. I am following him on twitter and in the last week or two he has been retweeting MK Dons fan's comments to him asking him to return to MK. It certainly does question his commitment to WWFC but at the same time he has said he is happy playing first team football.
