And we will at some point by the end of the season lets not let it take the shine off our remarkable turnaround. I still think we will finish behind the mags by a point or two unless the loss of Ba and Tiote really hits them but its next season after MON has had a chance to shape the squad that I am really excited about. Winning the FA Cup will take the edge of these couple of defeats though, I am going on Sunday and can't fecking wait. Chelsea (in the away end) was the last time I saw us win away before QPR and before that was about two years so I don't know if I am good luck or not.
WASH YOUR MOUTH OUT,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,as the sign says,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,`UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT` Keep the faith mate and enjoy the rollercoaster ride, ME Im lovin it.
You're bound to be right, Wease. The bubble's got to burst sometime. But I'd much prefer to lose two in a row than do it regularly, as we had been doing. I'd much prefer to see good players like McClean and Kilgallon getting a fair crack of the whip, rather than the sheer waste that was happening. I'd much prefer to have a balanced midfield that offers support to both defence and attack when required. And I'd much prefer people of the international calibre of Bent and Gyan not breaking their necks to get out of here. Two defeats in a row? I'll take that in exchange for the changes we've got recently. At least now I can look at Sunderland football club and see some sense in it. Enjoy your visit to the Posh on Sunday, mate - and bring us a win if you can.
It certainly is for me, syd. Win lose or draw, I'm happier with the way this club is being run now. There were too many talented players being signed and then wasted (and I'd add Riveros to Mclean and Kilgallon in that category) too much negativity in the midfield, too many internationals wanting out for unclear reasons. I'm just very glad to see the back of it. Yeah, MONiB for me mate. Quite definitely.
