According to SSN we've made an "official enquiry" to Fulham about AJ... no bid as yet, although it seems bids around the £1.5m mark would be considered... Unfortunately for me he's one of those players that used to be half-decent... and is now a little past it. Equally, he's probably about the best we could hope for at the moment given our current position. Thoughts?
I would welcome AJ to QPR, but I think he would be very similar to DJ in the sense that without the service, or our current service and he would in fact be ineffective. I think Warnock needs to think long and hard about this, because it's not just transfer targets in filling in the blanks, it's about thinking how we are actually going to play. There's no use bringing in these players and playing long balls too. I really hope at the moment he's working hard on the training ground getting us passing the ball on the floor and working hard off the ball in both attack and defence. Mind, Pigs can fly..
He looked pretty good against us! Otherwise I don't think he's scored many this season and he's injured. I'd prefer Messi, Defoe or Berbatov in about that order of preference!
Despite his great goalscoring form against distinctly average teams, I don't think I could tolerate another lacklustre player such as Berbatov
if thats the special one we have our hopes build on of shooting us into safety then something is really wrong IMHO
If he were to come to us and score 2 or 3 a game against our relegation rivals (bottom half of the PL at least), I couldn't give a flying pig how lacklustre he is! But unfortunately I have not heard a whisper about Berbatov being on our radar, let alone a done deal!
no thanks, get a midfielder before we get another average striker, johnson is no better than campbell, get someone really worth it if we dont get a provider
Injury prone and if he can't get regular game time with Fulham why do we want him. Not desperation I hope. As everyone is in the market for a striker from Man U to Bolton why has nobody else looked at him. If he does come then hope he proves me wrong. Would still prefer Kenwyne Jones, to give us a bit of muscle up front. I know he is not setting the world alight right now but if we played him regularly I believe he would be really good for us. Also where are all these done deals we heard of a few weeks back?
seeing as Kyle Lafferty is out for seven weeks, we'll probably NOT be signing whatsisname from Rangers, so Johnson becomes more likely now...
Bob with all due respect your starting too p I s s me off now. Please highlight the thread where I said he would sign before Norwich and stop acting a plank
If he were to come to us and score 2 or 3 a game against our relegation rivals (bottom half of the PL at least), I couldn't give a flying pig how lazy he is! But unfortunately I have not heard a whisper about Berbatov being on our radar, let alone a done deal!
Cerny. doing it from my phone so don't know how to highlight but the article was ' warnock confident of getting one player in time for the norwich game'. You then put AJ. wum
