I remember one of the OPE reds getting stabbed at Scarborough v City years ago .. Was suppose to be a friendly but it kicked off as things often did in those days .. Think it was Harry Watson ... Never liked him anyway with him being a man utd fan ... Though he was supporting city that day .... For me our rivals where allways the Sheffield clubs , Sunderland and middlesborough ..
Your new manager syndrome's not coming back till Barmby gets stretchered away from management and you get someone else in.
No points for being a club historian! try going back to 1968 http://www.mylearning.org/local-heroes-hulls-trawlermen/p-2838/ There had always been a rivalry, but crazy chants from TWS supporters about us 'going down like our trawlers' really set the scene. To be fair most of TWS were horrified, but the deed was done - they may have forgotton, for us it is not so simple. We just escaped relegation; it was a difficult run-in by anyones standard! White shirts on the streets of Hull has nothing to do with TWS and everything to do with the scrotes from Hull who wear them!
Agree the chants about the trawlers was disgusting but lets not forget the chants from your fans about the two Leeds fans murdered in Turkey was not very pleasant either.
