Who would you like to bring in or sell if you were Adkins/Cortese My choices Out Forecast, Forte, Puncheon. In Lee, 1 of = Sordell/Maynard/Sharp, a goalkeeper for AFTER Kelvin, another centre half in the Hooiveld mould, a right winger to give competion for the place. Right your go....
In: Definitely a striker, whether Lee will be enough, I'm not sure. A midfielder like Kris Commons as we don't get enough goals from midfield. Out: I don't particularly want anyone to go but the likes of Forte and Dickson may want to leave for first team football.
I think we need a GK, CB, Winger and a striker. Ideally I'd love: Alex Smithies, Ryan Bennett, Matt Phillips and Marvin Sordell. All good players at this level and are at the age and ability to improve.
In: McGugan/Phillips, Lee and/or Rodriguez/Jukebox I feel that we need a tall and reasonably quick striker up front as I feel we lack a presence up front when Lambert drifts out wide - I don't think the likes of Maynard, Sharp, Sordell etc are the solution. Also, apparently Forest want to sell McGugan to raise funds for a striker and I think he could be the goal-scoring midfielder that we need, and he can deputise on the wing like Chappers. Out: Puncheon, Forecast, and Dickson and Forte should probably leave for first team football (even though I prefer Dickson to Harding).
Trying to keep this as realistic as possible. In: Lee Sharp - unlikely tho with the PL clubs after him (i really feel we need a fast poacher sort of striker because we already have Lee and Lambert at 6 foot something) If we carnt get Sharp i would be hapy with Sordell. Raheem Sterling (loan) - Everyone has see what nathan redmond has done this year but Sterling has everything we have missed. (Sadly i don't think Phillips will come to use but i'd happily be wrong) ? I'd look on the lone market. Alex Smithies - young, english and has a great future. Out: Forecast Forte Puncheon Dickson Bart
Some good feedback, i see 1 do we need a CB well i tell you why i think so, Jaidi not getting any younger and Seabourne has suffered a fractured skull from what i understand, CBs do lots of heading, i have a mate who fractured his on a judo mat it took years before the doctors were happy for him to play football again, so thats why i said CB. A striker that runs at people would be good, we dont have that, Connelly is ageing and seems to pick up a few knocks, Barnard is struggling with his ankle, lee looks good but how long for him to settle? im looking forward to seeing him. I like De Ridder its just taking time for him to adapt from the type of winger used in Holland to that adkins expects( up and down0 the flanks. Some great options given on here though
