5 weeks ago I reckon he'd have gone. Watching the way he celebrated his and the other goals at Wigan, I've changed my opinion. He was dancing around at the end of the game like a little kid and was full of laughs.

He 's enjoying the Mon regime for sure and I think if will stay at least until the summer. However, his family situation will ultimately be the deciding factor as to whether he stays beyond that. I hope the club can help get his family over here and he stays longer, as he really has come of age in recent weeks.

Liverpool can **** Off with £8m!!! He's better than Henderson was when we sold him

Totally agree with Cest - there was a lot of unrest in the camp 5 weeks ago but now players seem to have a renewed vigour - I think we argued about O'Neill before his appointment Cest - looks like you were right (don't tell the wife I said that - as she doesn't hear it she won't want me saying it to anyone else!!)

Sessegnon has been a revelation since Martin O'Neill took over and he has looked every bit the Premier League player - although he could work on his finishing from a little further out!! - His link up play is some of the best we;ve had at Sunderland in a long while and that chance he engineered for himself against City - he left one of (if not the - IMO) best centre halves in the country for dead with some fantastic skill.

Looking at Jack Colback, Seb Larsson and Lee Cattermoles' attitude over the last week or so (Larsson ill and insisted on playing, Colback turned his ankle in the warm up on Tuesday and still wanted to play and Catts had a gash in his shin and played on 9although Catts is absolutely nails) - 5 weeks ago I feel that those 3 players might have thought differently about this as it's all down to a confident mindset and a will to play/win which we appear to have now...

Seriously though if he ain't happy with life in the North East, it aint any better in Liverpool.

People say he can live in Cheshire with great schools around the area. Well we have beautiful places too in Northumberland and Durham, and its not as if he cannot afford to send the kids to one of the best schools in the area.

Papers making up rubbish I hope. Even if he is unsettled surely we have learnt our lesson and any outgoings of 1st teamers is saved until the summer!

Listen if they are ready to offer in excess of £35m for the lad (he is 20 times the player Aunty Carroll is imo and 10 times more effective in front of goal), we may well have to listen (business is business) but anything under that and its a huge **** off Kenny from me.

In fact, on reflection, make that a min of £40m, as everyone else has taken the piss out of KK recently with valuations so why not us? Lol

as said above think that maybe 5,6 weeks ago he may have been ready to jump. MON coming in has changed attitudes all over the place.
Would not like Sess to go, classiest player we've had in a long while, hopefully success on the park will keep him with us

I think you could be onto something there, perhaps if we got him intouch with Obafemi Martins we could get Sess a dodgy British passport certifying he was born in Sunderland during the late 80's and I reckon Dalglish will take a punt on that £40m you quoted.

Realistically you'll struggle to hold onto him if the big guns come calling. That's just the way it is. But that was the situation when he joined you so it is not really an issue.

We have to keep hold of him, you don't sell your best players. MON left Villa because they sold Milner to Man City. I cannot see him letting Sess go unless he has a decent replacement to come in. Were really short of decent attacking players so I can't see him going anywhere. MON will only sell players that don't fit into his plans.

You can if they offer pitiful amounts Warm Pouch - if Liverpool seriously think the lad is only worth £8m after they spent £55m on Andy Carroll and Jordan henderson (both of which he is better than) then they are having a laugh
