Demba is fantastic.. and seems very professional and a very nice guy. one thing that struck me in his first interview was his modesty. his attitude is spot on and to top it off he destroys the oppositions net when ever he feels like it. also Tiote was awesome tonight... back to the tiote that earned him his god status
Players like him who smile when they play the game are just a joy to watch. It's even better when you can match that attitude with consistent, great performances. Great player
Was thinking exactly this. There was a point during the game when he was fouled by (I think) Valencia and while Valencia was mouthing off at him with a huge scowl, Demba just had this massive childlike smile on his face , absolute pro.
Haha did you see how much Phil Jones mouthed off for the whole game??? I never had him down as a whingy player but bloody hell, he's changed my opinion of him tonight Obviously that made the third goal even sweeter
Yeah I was over the moon when he scored the own goal . When I've watched Man United matches this season I've always had time for him, he seemed decent enough as a professional and was a surprising prospect who was doing well. But tonight he just moaned and complained constantly so it was pretty great to see him get an own goal.
Absolutely special player you've got on your hands there. Wish we'd done more to try and sign him. Hopefully Senegal do a Scotland and come home far too soon.
