When are Man U just going to go and give him a squad number, he was shocking today. An absolute disgrace to the game.

Agreed tbh. Should have had penalty, gave them a freekick when Ferdinand clearly fouled Ba and a lot more

 

He was absolutely terrible in the first half, but looked like he'd had a talking to at half time, as he was giving us a lot more.

 

I liked his high foot rule for us....and his high foot rule for them

 

We didn't seem to get any fifty fiftys, or sixty fortys for that matter. The only things we got were clear cut, and even then he sometimes wouldn't give it.

 

Gave us a lot of free-kicks the Man U players were unhappy with as well mind, and don't forget the goal-kick that should have been a corner.

He and Graham "3 yellow cards" Poll are supposed to be the best English referees? Doesn't say much does it

I ****ing hate Webb. Best referee in England? Bollocks. He owes us two penalties now.

 

Never seen Webb have a good game up here. It's not sour grapes because we got beat or anything, it's just that even though we won quite easily he missed loads of blatant misdemeanours against us. Even gave free kicks the other way when they should have come to us.

All in all justice was done though and Fergie will no doubt have burst a blood vessel and threatened his whole team that they'll be made available to any buyers.

I wonder how many Man Utd players got caught in the eye by flying football boots after the game.

 

I'll never forgive Howard Webb for ruling out that perfectly good Viduka equaliser against Fulham that helped send us down...

Have to admit he was very hit and miss .. He gave us quite a few free kicks that i didnt think were at all .. but i was shouting at the screen regarding valencia, should of been nooked a lot sooner, was a penalty, Ferdinand used Ba as a climbing frame yet it was Man u's free kick .. cabayes hand ball in the first half was not hand ball either, he was in control of the ball and it was completely accidental .. was not a free kick .. for a world cup final ref he either does not know the rules fully of is very very inconsistant

 

best thing I saw tonight, nearly as good as the goals was a van full of coppers stuck behind a Taxi
the Taxi pulled over when the blues and twos went off, Copper driving the van revs his engine and promptly stalls the engine
he couldn't start the engine for a good minute and wasn't pleased when I offered to push the van for him

should of got the other fat bastards in the back of the van to push

 

The standard of reffing has been pretty shocking on the whole this year.

That was the worst refereeing performance I have ever seen. It was one of two things.

1: incredibly biased or
2: incredibly incompetent

Either way he should be investigated.

My mate (who's a scum fan) actally bought a United shirt, and jokingly put Webb and number 12 on the back. Even certain united fans know he's their 12th man.
