If we are going to start singling people out for pessimism or negativity....ive seen more than a few people criticising Tiote and saying we should sell him in January and 'he cant play football'.

Even when some dirty scouser came over here spouting this tripe some of you agreed with him.

So 'where are you lot now?!'

He's class. He's now fit. He hasn't been in previous games. We cant afford to sell him.

Going to be a big loss.

P*ssed off he got himself booked. Going to miss the FA Cup game.

    3-0!

    HTL!

Tiote was back to his very, very best today. Absolutely huge contrast from our last game.

Well done to Tiote, class tonight, back to his best. Hopefully he can keep it up and not get injured again.

See you've got nothing to say about Ben Arfa not playing <whistle>

Firstly, he's not banned. Doesn't count now.

Secondly, not many said he was ****. Fact. People said he was out of form. Which is true for a lot of the season. Today he was a beast, that's what he's capable of.

Well played by Tiote. His tackling was crisp and even his passing was decent. Can't believe that some people wanted to sell him in January :emoticon-0107-sweat

This! I remember reading that and thinking "wtf???"

It would only be a matter of time before he's back to his best (he did well against Liverpool), and now maybe the fans who were slating him will shush!

    Good thread.

To be fair though, he was playing like **** before, and deserved criticism.

He wasn't too bad before, he just wasn't fully fit. A fully fit Tiote could walk into any PL starting lineup.

I made the point today that HBA should in the team against the lower teams in the league:- Swansea, WBA, Bolton.

i still think he is a first team player.

Tonight 4-4-2 was the right formation to play and against a team like Manure it would be risky to play him out wide.

However. My biggest point with HBA is the player that plays instead of him have been horsesh*t. Raylor played tonight and was solid. Obertan was nowhere to be seen and look at how we played?!!!

Agree about Obertan, don't want him anywhere near the starting XI.

Seems to be <laugh> And they criticise Man City...

My thoughts precisely. Tiote, not a ball-winning midfielder <laugh>
