Could the NE sides launch an assault on Europe next season?? The way things are going you never know (cue us selling all our players now <laugh>)

Fair play to Newcastle, thought we might close the gap tonight but they've come out strong, scored some fantastic goals and fully deserve their win.

Having said that I don't ever think I've seen Manu play that bad.

Very well done tonight, well deserved.

Its great both are doing so well, ours may be a new manager syndrome, but a feeling in my water says its a start of something special, New manager syndrome is usually 2-3 wins then the wheels fall off, ours is a tad more than that, and beating the leaders as well, something is brewing in the NE and i say bring it on, and its about bloody time.

I know that losing Ba and Tiote might seem a problem but the fact that they're going to be missing for a few weeks might keep them off the menu for some of the rich clubs looking to take them... might actually work out better for you in the long run.

We're not losing Sess to the cup (I don't think)

I think Sess is from Benin and they didn't qualify so fortunately he will be staying (unless he gets sold :().

Fully deserved win for the mags tonight and made Man Utd look poor.

Ba is in sensational form and will be a massive miss for the next few weeks. Pardeaux got his tactics spot on.

    Well done.
