    To the first 10000 fans who take their 2011/12 shirt to the club shop. Just announced on twitter.

    Prob's just be an iron on but decent effort from the club none the less.

    I personally don't like the new shirt with Virgin on the front. One of the reasons I liked this seasons home shirt was because the NR logo wasnt iron on like previous years. Now they're gone and iron on virgin!

    I'll keep my current shirt. Not seen the orange and black shirt yet though.

    Good effort by the club though, bet that wont be cheap!

    And I imagine some of us are. The sponsor itself isn't the bad thing, just what it looks like on the home strip - just a big ass sticker!

    Could be worse though eh, at least it's not some ****ing bingo site or something daft like that <laugh>

    I can cope with that shirt for the rest of the season. I remember when West Ham simply put tape over their sponsor when XL went bust.

    10,000 is pretty good. Club could have just charged for every single "upgrade".

    Just been on the official site, it says the first 10,000 fans will receive AN UPDATE to their 2011/12 shirt.......sounds to me like they might just stick the new logo onto the existing shirt......

    If that's the case, I hope they make them available on the club website so I can try and stick it on myself. The guy tweeting from Virgin Money has said you need to get them done at the club shop though.

    Feel sorry for the Virgin Money guy. He's getting inundated by tweets from NUFC fans at the moment <laugh>

    Mines a members shirt and that,coupled with the fact that is is the last NR shirt means I'm not going to go for the iron on option.
    Whilst it is a decent move by the club.... I'm sure their cost will be offsett by the added footfall into the shops.

    For me a better option would be for all shirt owners to be given a free scarf or summat and clip the inside label as proof the supporter has been given a freebie.
