    On the nufc.co.uk site it looks as if it's, for now, until the end of the season, fulfilling Northern Rock's sponsorship contract.

    What the hell? The black on the sponsor is a different shade to the strip and the box that the sponsor is in is too small.

    A new shirt be available in around 5 months. I don't think they were ever going to put much effort into the new sponsor for the rest of the season.

    Actually on second thoughts, just seen the new kit, and it looks ****.

    So ill keep the Northern Rock ones i think

    Will it be the same black though? They're probably going to just glue the same box onto that as they did on the first shirt.

    I thought they might've done this.

    And to be honest, I think northern rock looks better on the 3rd shirt than Virgin Money will

    This will make the 3rd kit used up until now reasonably rare in future right? Only used for half a season and in 3 or 4 matches max.

    1) I'm not surprised it looks half-assed, after all, it only became official this week! Not sure what anyone expected?

    2) Considering the number of **** sponsors out there today, especially betting sites, I think we could have ended up with A LOT worse than Virgin Money, especially once a better effort is made when designing next season's kits

    Something like that, yeah. I'll wait to see what it looks like with Virgin Money on but I daresay it'll look better with Northern Rock on it. How long will the old ones be available for, do we think?

    Who knows whether they intend to put these patches over already-printed shirts for the rest of the season, or if its just temporary for the time being and soon they'll be rolling out ones with just the logo and text printed on like this season's ones with Northern Rock

    Christ I hope retailers hold a fire-sale of the Northern Rock ones, I haven't got one yet. No one's going to buy that new!
