Not sure how relaible the sauce is......

Newcastle have been offered the services of Italian striker Vincenzo Iaquinta. The 32-year-old is out of favour at Juventus, and his agent has been in contact with Premier League clubs regarding a transfer move.

It appears that the Italy international wants to move to the Premier League as he currently finds himself struggling to force his way into the first team in Turin. Iaquinta's agent has offered the striker to several Premier League clubs on loan for six months.

Newcastle are still considering a move for the player, who could provide extra attacking backup for the Toon.

Obviously getting on abit, and would require big wages. But could fill the gap left by Ba whilst at the ACoN.

    Unlikely given the source.
Also, no PL experience + high wages.

That said, if we pulled it off... <whistle>

No thanks, 32 years old and played in the Italian league all his career.

Not the answer to our problems.

I do laugh at people who think 32 is past it for players now. With the improvements in fitness, treatment, conditioning and nutrition players now can easily play well into their mid-30's and beyond. It's not like in the 70's where players would abuse their bodies and be ****ed by the time they hit 30.
