fair enough. i was willing to give you the benefit of doubt (more out of hope) until you tripped yourself up earlier. as you seem incapable of justifying your ramblings, then i can only come to the conclusion that you know as much as i do - which is **** all.
Here's my take on it. Harry tells Neil who he can have from his squad - players that he does not wish to retain. Spurs have the power here, in effect, the players are cast offs. The two agree parties agree. Harry wants them out; Neil wants them in. A done deal. Thereafter.... The agent seeks to negotiate the best deal for their client, against the backdrop of current contractual ties (i.e. Spurs winning the EPL, qualifying for Champions League, etc). This is changing constantly, so although the deal is done, the finer details of the contract await approval. The agent will not want to jeopardise any return for his client by acting too soon. At the same time, QPR are probably looking to see the relative strength of including or excluding release and retention clauses against the relative risk of these events occurring. Naturally, the likelyhood of each scenario grows and recedes with each match that passes, hence the timing is key here for both parties to believe they have the right deal. A good example of a done deal was Bassong back in August. Exactly as described above. One thing changed however here - Harry decided that due to the inability to agree a fee with Bolton for Gary Cahill, Bassong then became unavailable. The deal was done, but unwound due to a change in circumstances. Just my thoughts here, but I think that it probably explains the position that CB is describing. I could be wrong here, and don't claim to know anymore than the next fan, but this seems a credible scenario. I for one hope that these done deals materialise and that there are no last minute hitches, but this is football, so anything might happen!
Again...I'm not predicting which way this is going to go, but I can't wait for the out-come, I really can't.
again, i'm not claiming to know anymore than you do, but this sounds like a deal agreed in principal to me, subject to personal terms being agreed. once personal terms were agreed, contracts would be signed and that would be the done deal - no going back. if defoe does sign, i will happily build a shrine for cerny and worship him as an ITK god.
Defoe scored the winner tonight for Spuds!! Why would they release him when they've got the most important three months of their season coming up even if they just use him as an impact player. If you are right Cerny I will take my hat off but I just can't see it happening. Given our current league position I think the best we can hope for is a few decent loans until the end of the season.
Twilight Zone guys... I am keeping quiet because i may be told off by some of the ITK's disciples. However i will say what a load of b#######. Defeo will not, has never been coming to QPR and all this talk is fantasy. Just wait until Jan 31st then when it don't happen it will be, "i didn't say which year". More important is that Wigan lost and hopefully we will get better.
Cerney , keep posting these mate. I enjoy these. Ignore the critics, don't know why they get so wound up.
why don't we just go for billy sharp or maynard, look at swansea graham scoring goals, morrison for norwich scoring so they can do it, really can't see defoe coming here, as for johnson he's injured so thats a no go, liked to be proved wrong but some how can't see it.
Rumour has it that cerny is willing to apologise for making up 'done deal' gossip!! Shall we forgive him??
Same old tripe from Cerny and his infuriatingly embarrasiing attempts to explain yet another 'premonition' gone wrong. His explanations - if you can call them that - never, ever make any sense and he makes out YOU are the fool. It beggars belief..... Self-important, delusional, etc...
In all fairness to cerny, he has been consistent in the fact that all his statements turn out wrong!. He pretends to be an ITK when infact he is more of a WUM !! He can't answer a straight question with a straight reply. his excuses for misleading everyone have been laughable.
