Well what can I say??? How to turn a bunch of headless chickens .......into match winners in 6 games. W4 D1 L1 - 13/18pts. Nearly Everyone had a good game tonight, Mig - outstanding young man O'Shea - Thats more like it sunshine Gardner - What a strike, great defence. Colback - Good show, defended well Sess - Keeps on running, great finish McLean - Keeps on growing, well finished son (in the end!) Kilgallon - No nonsense good defending Richardson - Head turned? Quiet game. Bendtner - Rubbish game but one piece of real quality for the goal assist. All in all I thought that Wigan were unlucky, showed a lot of endeavour, were good going forward BUT complete poo in defence !! Great result and 10th place for the moment is sure nice to see. Not to mention a big thanks at the sight of 2000 SAFC fans cheering the lads on all the way. Haway the lads man.
Bendtner was poor in the first half. But came out like a new player second imo. Class performance by the lads. Gutted I didn't go!
I knew O`Neill would do well for us but he has well surpassed what i ever thought was possible in such a short time! Were rockin now lads, bring on the FA cup game next
I said when he was appointed he's one of the best managers around. He has even exceeded my expectations of what could reasonably be expected this first handful of games. If we can't do anything with MON in charge we never will.
Short must surely see now that if he should be trusting money to anyone then its O`Neill! Wonder how far Short is willing to go and how much ambition he has? Could be very good for us this like, the start of something great IMO!
