The FA have confirmed that no action will be taken against Yohan Cabaye or Fabricio Coloccini because referee Lee Probert saw both incidents. <ok>

Well he didn't see Cabaye, replays showed his back was to the play, but ah well. I know many will come on and rant and rave but I don't think much can be done really.

Oh, well, nice to know that Probert isn't into non-contact sports. Shame the FA doesn't support him in his take on things. If he'd carded either, or not seen either, Colo and Cabaye would have been suspended, no question.

Its nice to see a ref allowing play to flow... <doh>

Nothing against either Newcastle or the player's in question but they both should have been sent off.

I couldn't care less to be honest either way. The games over so it has no advantage to us if they were banned.

    Good for Newcastle though <ok>

Good news for the united game but they both should have been red cards, cant believe the ref really did see either as if he did then there is no excuse for them not being reds.

Cabaye should have gone - horrible tackle and it's a worry that some refs don't think that isn't worth a yellow, but the Wolves player's tackle on Arsenal player was worth a red?

Coloccini's I don't think was a red card anyway (although outside the box that is a free kick so probably should have been a pen if the ref saw it).

Neither challenge was as bad as the Lampard foul or A. Coles two assaults yesterday against Wolves...now that's injustice. Hope you guys smash Utd. <ok>

I agree with Coloccini decision, I don't think there was much in it....... unlike Sammon who brutally mauled Carrick's sweet face, the inhumanity of Sammon!

Neither were worth a red anyway, Colo/ Bellamy was a nothing incident and Cabaye's(a yellow card imo) looked worse with how fast the Liverpool player came diving in.

Either way, means nothing to Liverpool, but is good for us.
