On my current game on Fifa 12, he's top goal scorer in the Championship, you know.

At least I think he still is.

"Lazy" ?!?! Surely the one thing you cannot accuse him of is being lazy.

He's been a bit better since Cotterill left, but yes, I think he is incredibly lazy. He doesn't fight for the ball, he doesn't chase it down... In his "defence" (excuse the pun), he does very well in our own box to defend, but under the way Appleton lhas set us up, that leaves us lacking up front.

Useless yes, but lazy no, although he did have a reasonable game against our friends from down the road.

Personally, I would sell him to any mug who wants to sign him, and look for a suitable replacement, in January.

Oh I would certainly sell him, his job is to scores goals which he clearly isnt doing. His work rate is the only thing he brings to the team.

He's not lazy at all, was all over the pitch today, but yes he isn't doing the job that we need him to, score goals!! I think the role he played today suited him well, playing off futacs, i hope Appleton keeps it the same for Monday.

I beg to differ. I thought he had a very good game today. He was placed in a Sheringham type role behind Futacs, worked his socks off and had some good touches. For a first match together I thought that he and Futacs started to develop a reasonable understanding. He has never been a prolific goalscorer but does thrive with the right strike partner - maybe Futacs could be that man, or Varney when fit. I think we would all agree that he is far better in a 4-4-2 formation with a partner up front.

Have always backed Futacs- at the young age he is at, he is full of potential. For me, upfront should be Futacs and Varney- and if one is ineligible, Benjani can fill in. Only then, after that, should Kitson even get a look in. Futacs first goal in England, against Leicester last week was superb.

Kitson never chases the ball down, and when he does receive the ball, he only seems to lose it. However, we can't sell unless we find a replacement <ok>

Did you actually watch Fiday's game against Leicester? He continually chased the ball down and, because he had better support and he actually laid a number of nice balls off for others. It's not his fault that those others did not take advantage.

Look, I am not his biggest fan and, if the right offer came along, then I would say sell him - he is probably a luxury we cannot afford. However, wherever he has played he has never been any good as a lone striker nor has he ever been a prolific goalscorer - but that is the job that has been expected of him since he first came to Portsmouth. He will probably go elsewhere and then come back and play well against us, like Nugent did on Friday. This club has a long history of killing players' hunger and confidence by not using them to their full potential.

And don't talk to me about Benjani. He's the biggest waste of space in the squad, no pace and no ability. I reckon the club signed him as a sop to all those people blindly crying out for him at the end of August. How much is he on?

Kits is not a favourite amongst any of us I would assume. That being said, I do agree with LFinH. His work rate is not in question lately but he is struggling to find the net, which is his main reason for being in the team.

If we can sell for 'good' money then fine but we could do a lot worse.

I wouldn't say he was lazy, to put it politely I would say he is past his sell by date.

Yesterday he was almost back to the performance level shown last year. Perhaps I was hasty in saying he's a busted flush, but he needs a few more performances like yesterday's to convince me.

Liam Lawrence is over rated, over paid and injury prone. I would not be sorry to see him go.

He had a better game yesterday but it's only a matter of time before he's back on the sidelines again.

Lawrence has improved in the last 2 games especially yesterday, he should have been given man of the match over Henderson who i can't even remember making a save...

Saying that though if the right offer was to come in i would get rid, but only if we were able to bring in another creative midfielder or two.

Lawrence has got much better recently. That said, I wouldn't start him ahead of Ward, Norris or Mullins if all 3 were available...

Kitson on the other hand is awful. Sell him quick. <ok>
