We really need to get something out of this with Chelsea and probably Arsenal winning. Still think we could do with a striker too.
Chelsea are 4th with 37 points and a goal difference of +14 Arsenal are 5th with 36 points and a goal difference of +8 We are 6th with 34 points and a goal difference of +9. Tomorrow's game is massive. Can close the gap on the two above us with a good result...
A win will be brilliant tomorrow. Being on 37 points and drawing with Chelsea at this stage is very good. Let's hope we can keep it up and maybe even sign a striker to help us take it even further.
I think after the results of the last few days their isn't as much pressure, just more incentive to win which will only help us tomorrow Should be a cracking game
COME ON YOU REDS Should be a good open game as both teams like to counter attack so there will be goals how many and to who don't know BUT IT WILL BE A CRACKER
I think we'll go with the following: Reina Johnson Skrtel Agger Enrique Kuyt Henderson Gerrard Spearing Downing Suarez Personally I wouldn't start Kuyt in this game because we really need to keep the ball and he gives it away too easily and too often (i'd start Maxi instead). Also, i'd love to start Bellamy but because of his knees, he struggles to play two games in a short space of time, so I expect him to be on the bench. I'd be tempted to play Carroll again but with Suarez being available, I can't see us going with 2 up front. I'm not very optimistic about this game, anything other than a defeat is a bonus in my opinion. I have a feeling that Skrtel and Agger may struggle a bit but we'll see.
I would defo drop Adam, hes been sh*te the last month, and needs a kick up the rear, and TBH the only time he has played well is when Lucas has been playing like a " monster" next to him My 11, dont think it will be too far from Kennys 11 either would be Reina Jonnos Skrtel Agger Jose Spearing Downing Gerrard Hendo Bellamy Suarez
Win win for me because i've just thrown in 3 players in my FPL team. If we win, I will be ecstatic; couldn't give a **** about FF. Come on redmen!
man city havent been in top form recently and their game against sunderland looked like our games against the promoted teams, we do seem to play well against the good teams so I certainly wouldnt be surprised with a draw or even win, especially with Gerrard back, but i thiknk itll come down to who takes their chances. Predicting a 1-1 draw and a relatively good game
My lineup would be: Reina Johnson Skrtel Agger Enrique Spearing Downing Henderson Maxi Carroll Saurez Subs: Doni, Carragher, Kelly, Gerrard, Adam, Shelvey, Kuyt
Zingy/LDC/MNS/ dude from Newcastle, what do WE need to do to get this victory? I will be able to watch it so I gotta find a way to un-jinx that!
I'm saving a poo for later, also I have already predicted a loss for this one as every time I go for a win we get a bad result (see Wigan/Blackburn/fulham results). I'm doing my bit...what about you?
Predicted 2-1 loss, wearing the 05 CL kit ( 09 we drew with them 2x I believe), and other than that, probably getting bazray to make some sort of rival watch during our game as that dude got some voodoo as results were top this weekend, bar fat frank that lemon.
Yep, he is keeping the original thread up. No pub for me on this one (work tomorrow) so I will be watching it at home, so will be keeping one eye on the rival watch thread. Kenny has subbed Adam early in the last 2 games now after dire performances...wonder if he will stick with him for tonight?
Citeh seem to have gone off the boil somewhat, and for whatever reason, Silva isn't the first name on the team sheet. If I were boss, he'd have to have a note from his surgeon saying he was going to pop a stitch not to have him playing... Here's hoping they have Dzeko up front and keep Silva and Aguero as 'impact subs', in which case we could snatch it. Otherwise I can see a scoring draw...
