Just bought one of them Powerballs to aide my recovery from breaking both wrists in a car accident 18 months ago and to rebuild strength in the lower arms.

Has anyone used one and if so any good?

Why do people buy things and THEN ask if they're actually any good?

No as in your question - does it contribute to this article and its content. Yes I have had feedback prior to buying it but I have only just bought it and used it a few times but seemed **** so thought I would cast my net on the feedback front

I didn't mean anything particularly bad by it, but I've noticed that people do it an awful lot, so I was just wondering why.

It's almost as if people want to be reassured that they haven't just completely wasted their money. In fact, that's probably exactly what it is.

Take some steroids aswel but if not just go with the protein shakes. You have to eat the right things and work hard.

Well, to add something constructive, I'd advise getting some instructions before you start to form an opinion on how well it works. I presume that the exact way of using it, and the duration of using it, are two very important factors when it comes to how successful it is.

Although you may want to dig around the web for people who use these things as a part of physiological recovery, because I imagine it's a whole different kettle of fish, and probably well beyond the knowledge any of us have here.

Usually it would, but if you have an injury then you have to play it safe. There are ligaments, tendons and joints which can stiffen up if they're overworked too soon.

It shouldn't be too much of a worry, but I'd at least stick to the official instructions laid out.

Cheers mate I will do. Had a glance of the instructions and no time scales given but the method of using it I was doing correctly - I'll keep it up for a few months and see if there is a difference. If not, oh well!
