It seems to me that people are forgetting that Warnock was only able to put this team together in two weeks compared to other managers who had 3 whole months.

This is simply a bad (very bad) run of form which was bound to happen at some point this season as it does with almost every side, let alone a promoted side.
We've got January to get in some quality before Feb/March when our season will be decided.

Lets not forget how far Warnock's taken us. Without him we could've been relegated to League 1 and now we're in the Premiership.

Yes it was a daft decision to take Taarabt off but aside from that the constant moanings about Warnocks tactics are plain stupid.

Number 1 on everyones moan list is playing one up front.

To play Taarabt in our current team you have to play one up front unless you want to lose all width.
We played 4-4-2 without Taarabt and everyone then started moaning that it was too flat and predictable and that Taarabt needs to be back.

So to play Taarabt as well as two up top (as I presume you want) you'd then have to play him wide and then we'd be in massive trouble at the back as he wouldnt cover the full back when he goes forward and he wouldnt help defensively. Basically we'd lose the threat of Traore and he's been one of our best attacing outlets.

    No.2
    This is a new one.
Why has Mackie been playing ahead of SWP.
Because before today SWP had been cack for a long time especially considering how well he played today and Mackie had found some form getting 2 in 2 as well being our best outlet in matches such as Utd.

To call for a managers head at the start of a transfer window is one of the stupidest things imaginable.
For one if he was to get the sack we'd then lose the chance to sign players as we'd be on the hunt for a manager and then when the new gaffer would come in he wouldn't know what to address!

The time for Warnock to be judged is the two months following the window. Given that he had two weeks to sign players in August and managed to attract Barton, Traore, SWP, Young AND Ferdinand I think he's done a bloody good job as without those players we'd most likely be bottom.

Please. Moaning does nothing useful. Back the lads, back the manager and back the board. Yes we should question decisions and I'll be first to say it was the wrong decision to take Taarabt off but that doesnt make him a bad manager.

If ever we've had a time to look forward it's now. We have £10-15m to spend and we're in the Premiership. It's a bad run of form and as QPR fans we've experienced enough of those to know that they do happen and that we shouldn't panic.

We could always go back to the Briatore way and change managers every two weeks! How many really want that?

Without people moaning/criticising/evaluating the teams performances this board would be pretty dull, and full of people endlessly and monotonously "backing the lads"; besides without others moaning how could would other posters to tell the rest, in drawn out form, to stop moaning!

I get that and it's my fault. By all means question and have a bit of a moan but dont start calling for the managers head and mouthing off about how all the tactics were all wrong and he's passed it, he's bottled it, he's too old, he's knackered.

Please question his decision to take off Taarabt as it was pretty stupid but dont then claim that he's now a rubbish manager.

Getting rid of NW now would do more harm than good although I think his naivety at this level is starting to show both tactically and particularly in his post match interviews.

I think after today it's fair to say the current squad isn't good enough and that five players are required as a minimum. If you are honest you'd have known that well before today and circumstances just f*cked it for us today. No point in moaning, as Scotland says the pre-season was loaded against us and our shortcomings are obvious. Money is there to strengthen and Warnock will sink or swim by his decisions in the next month.

I fully expect a keeper, centreback (or 2), left back, midfield playmaker and striker (or 2). With TF fully behind him I expect some names to cheer us up being announced in the next 2 to 4 weeks and the break till the Newcastle game may prove handy. I think we'll also see the likes of Perone, Buszacky, Orr, Smith, Hulse and the rest of the make-weights see us bow out of the FA Cup at MK.

The new signings are gonna have to hit the ground running and the points are really going to be vital up to the visit of Arsenal, let's be optimistic!

Stop being sentimental about where Warnock got us to.We,re here and we want to stay here and if it means losing Warnock to stay here then thats what the owners should do.

Agreed Scotland. I questioned some of his tactics today (e.g. thought Mackie through in middle in place of HH would have in better in the circumstances: desperate for pace and an out-ball up top), but as yet I've not called for his head. The initial line-up was fine overall (Derry looking out of sorts, for me at any rate), and certainly Mackie over SWP in the last few games has been a justified decision.

However, we're on perilously thin ice now and it's difficult to see how it's going to change round.

Personally I cannot quite envision the arrival of so many players; if some arrive you also have to look at the quality of player we can attract: it's doubtful whether loanees could supply necessary endeavour to scrape us out of this mess. Are we really going to pick up 2 quality centre-backs, 2 strikers, a keeper, and most ridiculously a player-maker, the most precious commodity in football? Seems highly unlikely, and certainly unavailable from other PL sides. For me our situation is so obviously terrible that players will be put off: Samba's just a pipe-dream!! If we get more journeymen PL "stars" then we are fooked, no doubt about it!

Fine! We'll just give up and do f*ck all...

They'll have been eyeing-up a big list of players and they're paying the wages, if you aim low you'll hit the bottom. Heard Tony Incenzo say this afternoon we can pay the big wages that'll attract the top players...

Calm yourself. I'm not suggesting we do nothing, rather that the wishlists of club and supporters are not always coterminous. We have to realistic about the window, quality PL players will not be available. I hope I'm wrong, but resorting to the home-spun cliche ridden views of Tony Incenzo as some sort of proof just doesn't convince.

Agree, Scotland. The fact is that until the moment Joey get's sent off, the team were playing well and we were 1-0 up. Can't blame Warnock for the sending off, although he does need to take Joey aside and get more discipline into the guy...

spot on Scotland, i hope Colin is left alone to build some much needed and long awaited stability to our club. I really hate this conveyor belt managment attitude that is creeping in throughout the leagues, and our fans more than anyone elses must realise it causes too many unknowns with players and fans alike.

I'm fine, as I said elsewhere the game today just went against us through circumstances. There will be quality available as ever and we'll be first in the queue for much of it. Incenzo is as ITK as anyone outside the club and I've no reason to doubt him...

Why, what in particular did TI say to give you such confidence, other than Fernandes is minted? We all know that much. What exactly makes us first the queue for talent? Can't be our league position or likelihood of us reaching Europe. Money will always attract players, but they won't necessarily be the best quality, especially in January.

If you were Samba and Spurs and QPR were after you, where would you go? To my mind there's only one answer, and money would not always be able to change that. Other than that, it will be players not getting games/included in the 25 that will be available to us: perhaps there's a Messi, and two 20-plus strikers lurking amongst them!
