<laugh> So they should have just let us win? What would the title have been worth then?

totally underwhelmed if Macheda is going to be THE one we sign for playing up-top! Doesnt score enough, unproven and what i've seen of him(when he plays!)he looks well short on confidence! lets be honest ,if it wasnt for that match winning goal against villa, hardly anyone would know anything about the lad.-and lets not forget.fergie will demand he plays in all the matches he has with us! Im just hoping that we will still get some real class forward in the window..otherwise its gonna be a long hard grind trying to get anything out of this season.

Didn't he also score against the scum once. If he did then I'll take him.

I don't think we can trash Macheda before he has played. Give him time to settle then judge.

Nothing wrong with signing a youngster from one of the biggest and most successful clubs in the world.

I would agree if our position was not so precarious..we havent got time for him to settle! he has to hit the ground running!

Hope Im proved wrong, but not overly impressesd. I dont want to hear 'promising youngster' and 'give him time to settle'. SO,he has hardly played for manu so how many games has he been playing for the past 6 months?.DJ got 12 prem goals last season and has hardly had a sniff?...

He'll need a good start for two reasons. Firstly he looks a confidence player to me, so scoring in his debut could result in a fine run and a total of 6-10 goals. Secondly Neil Warnock don't believe in second chances, if his first games are poor can't see him getting many starts.

Dream scenario; coming of the bench today and net the winner.

Is it really a mystery why he hasn't featured alot for ManU, just look at their quality upfront. And DJ, if it weren't for Injury and illness he'd have about 10 goals already.

When I say give him time to settle I mean lets be positive, expect the best and support him. Very few players set the world alight straight away. I will be happy if he shows ability and desire in the first instance. At the moment his ability is not proven which means it could go either way. Lets get behind him and give him the best chance of success.

We need an attacking midfielder desperately and one that can shoot from outside the pen box
