    Excellent. I guess he's most famous for Norwegian Wood, but there are many great books - A Wild Sheep Chase, Dance, Dance, Dance, The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle, South of the Border, West of the Sun...

    He's very big in Japan. <laugh>

    Not many foreigners died in the quake and it would have been in the UK rags if a British citizen had been killed.
