    If it's less than £3 Million then yes ....But right now we need another goal machine instead of a talent who'll still need to make a 2 league step up. Investing in young players from lower leagues is good, but when we're short of good strikers, we should save every single penny to buy one. Let's not make the same mistake as Brucie...

    Would LOVE this guy and I'm sure it'd be possible. Honestly, watching some of the goals he's scored he's clearly a natural finisher.

    Like someone else said, if he's cheap then sure. The fact is though that he's a League One player, and that's a long long way from the Premiership.

    I doubt he'd go for less than 7 or 8m though, which is too much for a club with our (self imposed) financial restrictions.

    Wouldnt really want young prospects that are strikers, we should focus on the likes of adam campbell and jj hooper, buy some established players for now

    It's all about what the agent gets paid ffs. Anyone that can't accept that is a ****ing whelp. The reason we got BA an Cabaye was because we paid more in agent fees than ANY other club bar Man City. Think about it FFS . If the agent new bigger clubs were in for them he would be thinking HA HA! I'll take the highest fee and the take it again WHEN they shine at Newcastle. Tell me I'm wrong if you must.

    This lad is wanted by everyone at the moment, and Clarkie won't let him go cheaply (unless of course Newcastle ask, Clarkie will have his bags packed and in Ashleigh's helicopter before Pardew gets to "Hi Clarkie, about Rhodes........")
