First of all I would like to wish everyone a happy new year and hope you all had a good Christmas.
Woke up to the exciting news that Swindon Town will be welcoming Charlton Athletic's Paul Benson to the team in the new year, as well as Wes Foderingham looking to make his loan move from Crystal Palace Permanent. Two exciting players and will hopfully help push us on to promotion this year.
The Benson deal will also see Leon Clarke leave in a swap deal which i'm sure is a massive relief for everyone involved. Elliot Benyon will also be leaving the club for Southed, another player who i'm sure won't be missed. Good luck to them both.
Paolo has made it clear more investment in the squad is required and Mr Wray seems to appreciate this and will work alongside Paolo to bring the neccessary quality into the team.
Wray certainly appears to have more ambition than Andrew Fitton and really hope Wray makes the chairman position his own soon.
So who should leave Swindon Town in January and who should come in?
Personaly I think Comazzi will leave and I know it's unlikely but I would love to see Gillingham's Rooney in a red shirt at the County Ground.

All I'd say about Rooney is that he will want to wait n see if any Championship or League 1 clubs come in for him. Paolo won't have the patience. But yeah would love to see him in a Swindon shirt.

    Beano's coming home!
Good stuff and January is becoming a very good time indeed for Swindon Town. It appears as though James wanted the talks as Oxford disscussed the bid with him before accepting it.
Swindon Advertiser also reporting that Ronan Murray is set to come back on loan for the rest of the season. Not sure we need him. That would make our list of strikers to Benson, Constable, Connell, Magera, Bodin, Murray and Kerrouche. Mental.
Well done Paolo and Wray, get him signed up!!!

Think you will find Big Tackle, Beano is not going to join you after all. Got a few miles up the A420 started to smell the unmistakable Swindon smell and high tailed it back up the road!

Kentish Man , You ask where all the money comes from? well my friend we happen to have 2 members of a consortium that just happen to be in the last list of the 100 richest people in football, at nos 52 and 36, one was the founder of a on line betting site and still owns it, whilst the other i cant remember , but was mega rich.
