No, when he's stated his determination to break into Ireland's Euro 2012 team. I'm sure he'd take a pay cut to go to another team if a permanent offer was put on the table.

In general you're right, however there have been many who have taken pay cuts to benefit themselves in other ways, such as progressing in their career.

According to sky city have turned down a bid from leicester for stewart, here we go i guessSkysports.com understands Hull City have rejected a bid from Championship rivals Leicester for Cameron Stewart.

Foxes boss Nigel Pearson is keen to raid his old club for Stewart having signed the former Manchester United youngster during his time in charge at the KC Stadium.

The 20-year-old winger is back to full fitness after a long-term knee injury and has impressed upon his return to the Hull side.

Pearson has made a new winger one of his priorities during this month's transfer window and Stewart is thought to be his top target.

Leicester are believed to have tabled an offer for Stewart which was immediately rebuffed by Hull.

Hull are keen to keep hold of Stewart as they look to mount a bid for promotion in the second half of the season.

Why is Nigel Pearson trying to raid Hull City - I thought Leicester were a bigger better club?
