It is a shame a few people feel obliged to spoil things for others, but that seems the way of the cyber world as well as the real world these days. Or am I just getting old? Why not just do a planned closedown of the board for a few hours for next New Years Eve (possibly other bank holidays?) No one can expect mods to be 'on duty; at all times 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and New Years Eve is a prime candidate for the odd sad person to try a little wumming, when they know they won't be stopped.
