What a joy to see us performing once again with passion and heart, that was one hell of a performance, and very pleased to be proved wrong on my prediction. I just want to congratulate Rodgers, and the boys for getting everything spot on, glad to see Dobbie back on the field of play, some of us have been banging on about him getting a game, let's hope Rodgers let's him get a run of form, I think that every one of our players put in a magnificent shift, and deservedly had a share of the spoils. Would like to congratulate both teams for providing a true feast of football today, and wish all the Spurs fans, the very best for the rest of the season, great game indeed!....................

agree 100% you lot played great, and wish all the best in the new year to the Swans, team that plays in the right way. As stated before you've the second most passes but second least shots in the league so you need a striker?

    anyway good luck Swans :)

have to say you spurs lads are a great bunch... thanks for all the kind and honest account of things.... your support down the liberty was great too, to be honest, don't envy anyone making that trip down the M4 on such a poor evening...... Good luck for the rest of the season from me :)

Just got back from the Liberty (via a couple of drinking holes) - performance of the season so far and two teams who were attack minded. Very entertaining game and the atmosphere and noise from both sets of fans was electric! Was chatting to a load of Spurs fans in the Harvester before the game and got to say what great ambassadors for their club they are; plenty of good natured banter - they were expecting a close game, whilst I was a little fearful to say the least!

Thought both teams were a credit to the game, as were both sets of fans, and it didn't surprise me that the Spurs fans posting on here were just as genuine.

Good luck for the rest of the season Spurs (apart from the return at WHL). <cheers>

Funny how no one has mentioned Harry Redknapp. As far as I'm concerned he along with Tottenham's players and fans have shown their class today. I have never heard an opposition manager talk about us as he did today. Full of praise for the team, manager, stadium and our fans. A certain Mr Warnock could take lessons from him. I would just like to reciprocate his kind words by saying I was very impressed by Spurs today, it was nice to see a team in the Premier League that didn't try to kick the living daylights out of us or park the bus. It was a cracking game, some of the movement by Tottenhams players was frightening at times. Their fans were also the best I've seen this season before, during and after the game. Funnily enough the worst set of fans have been Arsenal, no comparison between the two.

Most of it has been said. Great game between two good teams playing the game the right way. Spurs posters are top guys and Harry Redknapp, well with his honesty and attitude he's a credit to his club and the game of football. Ditto the comparison between him and Warnock.

Now I've got to hold my hands up and I do so with absolute pleasure. I have been banging on about us being a 70 minute team and rightly so in my opinion. However, today was different. Boy, was it different!! The lads kept going in the last 20 minutes and launched attack after attack on the Spur's goal. It was brilliant to see and, on another day, we actually might have snatched a win. But that might have been unfair on a Tottenham side who certainly had their own chances throughout the match.

It was just fabulous to watch and fair play to Dobbie. He made a solid contribution and it was only his lack of match sharpness that saw him falter a few times. A run of games will give him that and he will become a dangerous player for us. Are you listening, Buck? You seem to have got my point about fitness levels the way the lads went at it today. But I'm not singling Dobbie out because the whole team turned up today and did us proud.

Now we need to keep this up; not just the football but the 90 minute effort we put in today. We don't want to undo all the good work by coasting against Villa - and I hope that we will also be up for giving them a bit of a dig along the way. I haven't forgotten how they kicked us black and blue at The Liberty!

As for Tottenham, the fans, the players and the Manager have all proved themselves quality which I know we Swans appreciate. Good luck, Spurs, for your title aspirations and if that is a step too far this season I'm sure you will qualify for Europe and do yourselves proud.

Great point today! maybe could have even stolen the extra two but there we go. Didnt think we would take anything with the starting line up Rodgers chose but there you go, that is why he picks the side and none of us do. Keep the same side and the same philosophy for the Villa game and i think we will get three points ON THE ROAD. Would hate to see us revert to the "lets sit back and do **** all for 90 minutes and hope for a 0-0 draw" type of play we witnessed in the majority of December!!!!

Hi Swans fans, agree with all that has been said.
I think a few of the Spurs players were showing signs of tiredness in the 2nd half, but the fact that Swansea kept coming meant that they had to find that little bit extra and most of them did- except Parker who got injured.
Well done you guys play the right way, hope it doesn't count against you at the end of the season.

The main, obvious difference that I could see was that the Swans appeared to believe they could win! The last few games we've seemed to retreat into our own shell a bit and tried to "hide" by keeping the ball, but from what I saw yesterday they went at Spurs with abandon from the first minute. Huge performance.

RE: Redknapp & Warnock. Anyone see Warnock's post-game interview vs Arsenal? The game where QPR had 37% of the ball? First thing Warnock said was "That Van Persie, he cheats something rotten...". Get over it mate! You're a ropey manager at this level and a little humility would go a long way.

Yep, cracking game, fair result, although had Swansea won that would have been fair too, as your team had the edge overall.

Sounded like a great atmosphere at the game, and the match was a credit to the Prem all round.

Well played Swanea, and well done Spurs in getting a point from a difficult encounter.

Oh I do not like Warnock!!! So what he said about Van Persie, so his player are angels are they namely Mr Barton. I've a lot of time for Harry, always honest about his assessment of a game etc. Spurs = Class Team, Harry = Class Manager. Just love them to push on and beat the Manchester clubs to the title. Can't see it, but defiantly top 3 finish.
