No, not that kind of tackle, before anyone gets their hopes up.

Let's be honest, it was bad. On another day, he could have been off. I don't think it was malicious at all, but boy it was dangerous.

My major worry now is if the ref says he didn't see it, because that opens up the FA to take retrospective action. If they do, there's all likelihood that Cabaye could be found guilty of a reckless challenge and could face a 3 match ban.

    Fingers crossed that doesn't happen.

I thought he did see it but that he decided not to take action.

He did see it, I remember looking straight to the referee and thinking he was going to do something about it but he just put his arms in the air as if to say 'what?' obviously thought it was fair.

Normal speed it didn't look bad, it's when Sky slowed it down which is obviously going to make it look worse.

What I didn't like about it was that it was a sneaky tackle, I hate it when players leave their boot in like that. Awful game as well.

Yellow card I thought, the way the Liverpool player came diving in,made it look worse. Not a nice tackle mind, he has did a couple this season like that.

Bad tackle yes but did De Jong get banned for breaking Ben Arfa's leg? No.

Spearing deserved it looked like he wanted to injure Cabaye how he went in full force out of control lunge at full pace and followed through and it backfired. Gerrard does it all the time and gets away with it.

Nahh, I like Cabaye but I was cringing. It was cowardly, the way he left his leg in. Deserved a yellow, or maybe even a straight red.

Stupid thing to do really, we were still level at that point (I think) and Cabaye getting sent off would have ****ed us.

When you go in for challenges expect to get hurt. This is a contact sport, or are you turning into Wenger now? There was nothing he could have done to stop that happening as it was a 50/50 ball, not to mention the fact it was Spearing's challenge on Cabaye that led to the injury.
