Didn't danny cause the mayhem in the box between Fridel and Gallas, for Sinclair to score? Did think Moore played well, Dobbie needs game time as he was asleep at times and got tackled a bit easily needs to adapt quickly but this will only come by getting game time.

Hi Swans! Having seen Spurtz at first hand on Tuesday, I have to say that is a cracking result for you lads! You can plan your trip to Carrow Road next year, definitely in the PL <ok>

rogers called it right today much better team effort and selection, sub timing. maybe to much respect given b4 game bale was kept pretty quiet and we could have won this ! pitty thier goal was going over b4 williams arm deflected it in. glad sinclair woke up. and dobbie did well though not up to speed yet. when we stepped up a gear 2nd half we were fantastic, over all great game and point won against a powerful spurs team.

Well done Swans. You've got to keep taking points off these average teams if you are to survive :smiley-finger007:

As Ivor said Spurf, it wasn't really negativity, just realism! Against Man Utd I fancied our chances for tactical reasons, but I just saw you guys having too much class, and having too much confidence due to current form, for us to stand any chance! I am so, so chuffed to be proven wrong though!

It's strange, against teams who play properly we shine. I said after the QPR match, that at times football is like rugby. If you try and play an attractive style when up against people willing to spoil, ultimately you can't play your game, you get sucked into playing the "other" way, which you're not as well versed in, and ultimately the team that's grinding wins out! Hell of a result for our boys today though.

Is Brendan's record of not losing two games in a row still standing? Awesome for a year and a half in the top two leagues if so...

this is what im saying and have said for a long time never...danny has his part to play but not all the time, when he starts we have a lot less shots on target and in a few games none at all. he is a work horse up front but rarely shoots at goal, Brendan had his tactics spot on today and we could have even won the match if ash never made a mistake on the 44th minute, but thats football mistakes do happen......more of the same for me and we will start picking up points away also....

  8. I only managed to watch he 2nd half, but from what I saw Swansea are the best promoted side by a country mile. Well organised both tactically and technically, with a great determination and fighting spirit. Fully deserved point for you lot- Im just glad that Man U and Chelsea screwed up, whilst IMHO Arsenal's win merely served to further demonstrate that they are an injury to RVP away from Armageddon.

I wasn't at all impressed with Defoe's "impact" as a sub, and thought that Livermore looked slightly uncertain and naive at times, although that will change with experience. Back-to-back must win home games for us now, and give the lads a rest against Cheltenham.

Best of luck for the rest of the season to Swansea fans.

    As for us?

    COYS!

Scott, they were awesome. After getting the goal I did fancy us getting all three but it wasn't to be. I said a draw before the game and got one. Van de Vart's shot was going wide and a cruel deflection off Ash, and the goal against the run of play, was GUTTED at half time. Now to celebrate the result and New Year.

Perhaps if you showed more 'respect' to fellow Jacks & eased off with your constant attack on Graham, you would have it reciprocated!!!

Thanks for the compliment. I'll take being a 'boy' at 43......

Sitting here grinning after reading that mate!

Happy new year to any Swans/Spurs reading this, hope you (Spurs!) manage to finish above at least one of the Manc clubs. Being able to predict the top 4 has gotten so boring...

Good luck on your pursuit of Man Utd you Spurs!!! Yourselves & City have been the best two sides to watch this season by far. Be happy if either of you won the title!!! <cheers>

Dai - When Danny was off, no goals. When Danny was on, we score. Deal with it Boy.
