Its been clear for quite a while our esteemed manager has had his mind on more than footie issues. Hopefully we have seen the last of him now, soon to be followed by the other idiots, Bates, Harvey and now Lorimer it seems. In case it has escaped the attention of the Grayson apologists, we're not even safe from relegation. At least twenty points more needed and I can't see where they're going to come from. Todays result has to be a new low even for our lot
Has to go now and then at least maybe the new man can bring some new faces in during the window..... Action needs to be taken NOW!
I genuinely hope fans get sense and boycott next home game. Should have been done months ago. Imagine batess face if say 14000 turn up. And to anyone who says it might affect our performance, you're right and we might win a home match at last.
No wind up but I've seen on a couple of threads that there may be outside issues that are affecting SG. Has he been playing away from home or something?
Ooh, he shagged a secretary, he musn't care about Leeds any more. Whoever the next manager is Bates brings in, he'll be just the ****ing same. Can't turn **** into glitter lads, and the squad we have without our best few players is S-H-I-T.
Some of us have been saying that for the past twelve months and have been lambasted for it. One step at a time, first out, Grayson, then Bates (hopefully). Who knows four or five of current squad might be ok with proper management
If managed well, we have a fantastic core of players with Lonergan (GK), White (LB), Lees (CB), Clayton (CM), Howson (CAM), Snodgrass (RM) and Becchio (ST), but we need four first team players to strengthen that and provide a proper spine to the team. You'll never get that without major application of transfer funds, and when building projects are prioritized over that, how are we expected to buy good players under Grayson? He's signed players like Nunez, Brown, Forssell, Connolly et al. for the sake of it, yes, and they're average, definitely, but how can he be expected to do any better when he's working under a draconian wage cap and transfer kitty? He couldn't have signed players any better for the money he's got - and I ask people to show me anyone we could have signed with maybe a 1.5m pool for transfers and wages. It's not enough. Whenever he's sined players for a fee, they've been brilliant with only a couple of exceptions. It's the token freebies that make his transfer record look poor, but if he didn't go for them, we'd all be on his back about how he can't be arsed signing anyone. We'd be begging for him to even get a couple of freebies in to increase the squad size. It's a bad situation and there's a lot of awkward dead wood to shift, lots of quality players needed and a change of direction required if we're to even look like getting promoted. Either that or a masterwork of motivation. And that looks unlikely. Keep Grayson till the end of the season and in the meantime, let's try get Bates to put the club up for sale. It's the only way to restore SANITY to the running of a club that used to be great.
I'd have thought that would be foolish at best and down right dangerous at worst. Takes all sorts though. Hope they're happy together.
You guys always see greener grass. A great following and yet little or no dosh to speak of all adds up to a big Championship club that has few prospects of progress in the foreseeable future. A major reality check may well be required, give a Manager some serious time to take you back to where you feel that you belong, and not call for his head at every given oppotunity.
Grayson may have given cause for BATES tO FIRE HIM WITHOUT PAYING COMPENSATION AFTER TODAYS RESULT i WOULDN,T PUT IT PAST HIM TO SEEK LEGAL ADVICE especially if another employees girlfriend is reputed to be involved .I have no doubt from the conversation I had today that there is trouble at mill
