The most worrying statistic from last night, the team won 8% of headers. We are ****ing terrible in the air.

 

It annoys me when people don't read the review, and just give reactions to the ratings.

We're not terrible in the air mate. Carroll is better than our CB's in the air, we knew that, and their CB's are better than our strikers in the air. We were going to get beaten in that department.

We're not terrible, Liverpool were just better. Stop obsessing over stats people.

 

I'll just add that Jonas has to be dropped for Ferguson, and maybe work his way back into the team. Vuckic was really struggling with his back against the goal but was also being well closed down every time he had the ball ... Obertan was piss poor again but with Marveaux out we'll still have to bear with him for another half season ...

I'd say that the worst players were Jonas and Obertan: we were cancelling each other in the middle of the park and if Jonas had his dancing shoes on like last season, I feel that we could've created more chances. And Obertan never even had a go at the spanish guy ...

Best players were Ba, Colo and Willo ...

 

We are terrible in the air, we rarely win the aerial battles against teams. It shows with set pieces etc, rarely get some good balls in but when we do, we cannot get a head on it.

 

For christ sake, that is not true man. We do win headers, but defending from set pieces isn't just about winning headers, there's a lot of movement in the box. It's do to with **** marking and lack of reaction from some of our defenders that leads us to conceding from set pieces, not because we can't win headers. We defend against most but once or twice in a game we are just static in the box.

We are not **** in the air, stop crying or else I'll just call you Mr.Tiote for being so ****ing negative.

Firstly, it was a Smiths bag.

Secondly there was two bags of crisps (cheese and onion/ready salted) and two bars of chocolate.

Thirdly, I was starving and the queue for Burger King was too long!

I didn't see him do much to be honest, despite Jamie Redknapp, Joe Cole and Alan Smith ****ing off every time he touched the ball.

In my opinion, individual mistakes cost us the game. Bellamy was motm, not Gerrard.
