The Allams haven't done anything so far to suggest they are trying to make a quick buck. They put money into Castle Hill hospital. There's a new Biology wing being built at the University of Hull which is heavily rumoured to have their investment. They have put money into Hull KR and they own Hull City. I doubt they will be pulling out any time soon either then.

Believe me, the is not true.

Yes ,there are a few reasons why NB hasn't signed yet, but the Allams commitment to to club is not one of them.

We're playing Mclean on the wing when he isn't really a winger. I do like Mclean but if we sign Hammill, he would probably only get limited chances especially with a new striker coming in

Nick wont give his commitment to the club cos he is worried just how committed to the club the allams are. I dont blame him. I too am extremely worried, I was called everything under the sun on Christmas eve for having the same concerns... OK maybe I didnt express myself well (I had just found out that the eggnog in Texas contains ALCOHOL) - But that doesnt invalidate my ongoing concern.

Have you been talking to Nick?

Macheda on his way to QPR on loan according to skysports.com in what looks to be 95% going ahead. Kinda irrelevant but still...

Macheda is going to DQPR on loan and Paul Pogba is going to Wigan on loans.

Will Keane looks the fav to me....maybe.

Gerrard wont leave Cardiff until the summer, imo regardless. He has a Wembley date to look forward to first before he leaves for FREE.

Bechio is a sick note. Stay well clear. Now that Snodgrass is out for 3 weeks i dont think TWS will let him go now.

Hammill is ok but twitter saying Brady deal is now done. time will tell i guess. :emoticon-0116-evilg

You weren't "called everything under the sun" because you were worried, it was because, by your own admission your "worries" were based on a racist dislike of "Greedy Africans" and Egyptians in particular. However, now sober, you are entitled to your point of view.

I still do not understand why you say NB is worried about the Allams committment. He has never indicated that at all, and I can find nobody except you who questions their committment. Worry about their tactics, or the teams ability, but the Allams committment? Why?

You mean the article that included the sentence:-

"Last week's talks also saw the future addressed and it remains highly likely that Barmby will pledge his long-term future in the coming weeks." ?

Yes, I read that, it was the usual Mail speculation and inuendo without saying anything. Frankly, if the Mail says the sun is shining I take an umbrella with me, but if you want to interpret their idiot musings as "informed opinion" feel free!

I read that as saying NB wanted the Allams to fight off offers for players (unless from top 8 Premiership clubs) and the Allams said "ok we'll try if any come in". But as we all well know, if a player really wants to leave then there is little anyone, Barmby/Allams/You can do about it.

Personally I don't think we'll lose anyone of real value. How about we wait and see?

If Brady stays for the rest of the season which I assume he will, does that mean we will drop our interest in Hammill?

I asked the same quesiton yesterday, but OLM said no, we still want Hammil.

Nicky seems to be building a squad instead of a team, i.e having 4 strikers, 3 wingers, 4 midfielders etc. Everyone knows that teams with the stronger squads come through at the end of the. QPR had loads of striekrs when they went up last year.

Can anyone tell me if Simpson is going to be staying with us? Does Nick prefer him over Mclean?
