Not sure if this has already been posted but Jason Puncheon is on the Soccer AM sofa tomorrow.

I know there has been a lot of speculation (Echo and his Twitter account) about his possible return to Southampton. Be interesting to see what he has to say.

We should remember he is a Saints player until next summer. Also as far as most players contracts at Saints they normally have an extention claus in them. This is to try and stop some players just hanging out the contract talks.....similar to what happened to the player that went back to reading that time!!

Might be because it's generally true.

Nope, never want to see him in a Saints shirt again. Talented, yes, but he has no footballing brain and his attitude stinks.

Hope he doesn't play for us again. Terrible attitude and only plays well on the odd occasion. Can't afford to have a player like that in the side.

Worth noting about Puncheon is that he always plays really well in the first 6 weeks of joining a new team, so if he returned to Saints almost as a "new player" then he may be a big asset to us.

Does anyone else feel we need a left sided midfielder to challenge Lallana for his place? Im not sure if Adam is just tired or what but he seems to be off the pace a lot lately. Maybe Punch can add some competition for that position.

I dunno what impression i got on his future. He says there was wrong on both parts, and seem to have a little dig at saints fans saying we labelled him with an attitude problem because it was the easy option. To be honest it didnt seem like he wanted to come back, it will be interesting to see what happens from now.

Well he was more open than I thought he would be, and well done Helen for bringing up the supposed attitude issue. But something tells me that his openess wont go down well with Cortese, and that absoloutely is the last we've seen of him, unfortunately.

Can you blame him? We booed him because he started playing poorly, a great way to help confidence. Will start happening to Guly soon aswell.

Thought he came across quite well in what was a awkward interview. I hope something gets sorted - either bury the hatchet or for his sake sell him.

Spot on. Puncheon wasn't playing any worse than a number of players at the time and had the boots of an injured Lallana to fill. He was frustrating, but didn't merit a lot of the grief he was getting.

As for off field rumours, well, 90% of them are made up bollocks.
