Has the nightmare for Leeds United actually stopped? Look at the club honestly and say? Attendances are lower than any season in League One. Were being hung out to dry by our chairman. The fan base is fading. People have had enough with the team and there is no togetherness whatsoever at the club. Mixed signals and contradictions are a constant. Anybody good we stumble across leaves. For me the nightmare is still happening. Some of our fans seem to have forgot who we are, and like it or not, we are still the laughing stock of the football league, how soon can you see this changing? For me it stops when were an established top flight club challenging and competing in the top 8. If no serious actions are taken by the club in January then we fans have to do something. Our club on the whole is slowly being destroyed! Some people need to wake up and smell the coffee...
Great clubs rise and fall and rise again but the greatest damage being done is to the future fan base with Bates pricing policy. Youngsters aren't encouraged to come to games anymore. The old guard will die out eventually. Even when we're down and (seemingly) out, as long as we have new blood coming in we'll have a future. That is seriously at risk and is the biggest threat to the club's future prospects.
Exactly my point mate! Im sure one day we will be back, the cream always rises to the top. But the way Bates is killing our support is whats hurting most. Elland Road is nothin like a fortress now, the atmospheres are generally rubbish and attendances are way down.
