    Jose Enrique set to ‘snub Liverpool transfer for Ac Milan move’
    Jose Enrique is set to leave Newcastle United this summer, but his transfer could be to Ac Milan rather than Liverpool.
    The Spanish left-back has been one of the stars of Newcastle’s first campaign back in the Premier League, with his attacking play attracting the attention of some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

    His current contract at St James’ Park expires at the end of next season and he has told Magpies boss Alan Pardew he will not discuss a new deal until the summer.
    That has given the clubs interested in signing him encouragement and Liverpool were said to be preparing a £6million bid for a player that interim manager Kenny Dalglish believes could solve the Reds’ left-back problem.
    Liverpool are set to miss out on the 25-year-old, as his agent has already met with AC Milan officials and held positive talks about a possible move.

    Prefer him to go to AC than Liverpool.

    Pardew has said that Enrique is waiting until safety is ensured before he signs another deal. Enrique has said himself that those past stories about him were untrue and that he's happy here. He also reiterated the point Pardew made.

    I'll believe them any day over some crap article which has regurgitated the same old drivel.

    I hope not too. Its from Caught offside but they reckon its from metro.
    Did he not say a few weeks ago that he would only leave for Barca or real Madrid??

    I think he's said he will only leave for Barca as it was the club he supported as a boy or something? Dont take my word for that though.

    If he does go(Which I hope that will never happen) then Barcelona would be the ideal team, but can't see it happening.
