Is it just me (...probably) or is nufc.com very negative with their match reports and the team. They seem to always look at the faults of the team and players rather than praise them for what they do and it doesn't really reflect the mood of us other fans.

They are very good journalists but I just feel taking a "glass half full" approach would make them a more enjoyable read.

To be fair to them they have always been that way and clearly state that all they write is their own opinions and don't represent the other supporters.

Is it me or have their standards slipped? They start advertising daft things now that I am sure most people aren't interested in.

They are good for ticket news and have a pretty similar view to the fans but you are right, at times they are indeed negative but it is their opinion.

They are nice lads, I have met them, they both go to most if not all games and do a good job on behalf of our fans.

I would say it was still the best fan site going for any club.

Aye, fair point. I guess those who don't like it should stop reading, I don't think i will though.

I quite like their approach, they aren't so much negative but aren't aver the top, pie in the sky positive! They're older than I am and have supported the toon longer so I guess they're well placed to justify a cautious approach to what we would consider good news!

Still a good read, I tend to agree with most things they say. The advertising and sponsorship is probs necesarry to keep them going. Probs the best fans site for us as their pieces are well written and not repetitive bollocks like on nufcblog etc.

I only go on our official website when booking tickets online, otherwise I stick to NUFC.com. Its approach is much more laid back but also straight to the point, no bullshit. I think they just say it how it is generally. Of course I see things slightly different from them (I remember after the Fulham game there was mentions of the R word!). I think they do a fantastic job and it must be hard for them seen as though they do it in their spare time! Good on the lads and I hope they continue.

Well after the last few seasons it was hard to be positive! But yeah recently I haven't enjoyed reading the reports as they have been negative...

2 great lads who bleed black and white, its their website, they spend all their time working on it & following the Toon, as far as I am concerned they are entitled and have earned the right to report how they see fit. Its a game of opinions. We all will never agree on everything or at times anything. A great Independant website must be amongst the best in the Country.

I always go on to the .com site for televised fixture details, latest transfer news and just general all things Newcastle.

I tend to find more things on 606/Not606 and nufc.com than the official site.
