Football Manager 2012

Just about to start a new save on the game, I have been playing as Dartford for the last few weeks season 3 two promotions in two and in the league mid table now so I think it is time for me to do my league challenge, I started one with gills the day I got the game was not happy with start so started with Dartford so now it is that time,
I will keep you all upto date with all the latest things happening in my game and how I do with the gills
Anyone who plays the game and would like to write about theirs are welcome also if you play it you can recommend to me good players for the league 2 and league 1 level who are must haves.

 

Just getting the game set up, I think I should need a few mid fielders, back up.
A right back or two, a centre back and left back, all back up.
I think I will also need to bring in 2 strikers as on there I think I remember Birchall is out for 10 months like real.

 

Just getting going now, I think I could do with up to 10 players, many back up 2 or 3 starters.

I will have a look, I have got rid of some of the fringe players, Oli, Rance, Essam, hawkes, Evans and I think one or two others, brought in a bit of cash for them aswell which is good, Charlton brought Oli LOL.

 

I got rid of Fish, Essam, Oli, Rance and Hawkes.
I didn't get rid of Evans.

 

Been looking at the youth teams of premiership clubs, believe there is a few I can get and work on so that they are future of my team.

 

I am happy with the team I have, we are just in the play offs after 12 or 13 games,

I have problems upfront as I have many strikers but none seem to get the goals.
Tubbs has not scored in 10, Wesley Thomas has one this season, Tyrone Barnett has not got a goal in 8, Stefan Payne has not scored yet, neither has Kedwell, but I have Stern John who has 6 but when I start him we never win, problems,
My best midfielder is injured and that is Marc Pugh, who has 5 goals in 10 games
My defence is ok, got a new keeper coming in for January.
I don't know what to do upfront, I think the goals will come soon from them all.

I am still in the play offs 22 games gone, but only 2 points off the automatics, was there but drew the last match.

 

Harry Kane from Tottenham has been great, 18 year old and top scorer with 16 in the league so far.

stick with Stefan Payne he was scoring for fun for Sutton United,before Fulham signed him

 

He is in my reserve team now, I have Le Fondre on loan, Bodin from Swindon and I have also signed Henley from Blackburn, the team is doing great now, 2nd and 25 games in, I have loaned out Tubbs and sold Thomas and I have also sold Stern John.

 

i'm Sheffield Weds at the moment,i've got as my Main srikers Jamie Mackie and Lee barnard i'm lying in 12th Place after about 6 games,seem to just be coming into form now

 

I still have stefan payne and kedwell upfront and im 3rd atm, both players scoring plenty of goals, im finding hard to sign players though

 

Don't judge at that point, I thought I was on form 10 games in then drew a few.

 

Keds don't do the job sadly, have not really gave Stefan a go, my goals are coming from Harry Kane and now Le Fondre who is on loan and goes back soon sadly.
I have just signed Rhodes from Huddersfield as I sold one of my midfielder, well happy he feel out with the manager at Huddersfield who took over from Lee Clarke who left to go to the championship got dropped and I got him for 200k LOL.

 

I am still second but I am on a massive blip, lost 4 out of 6.
