2-0 final score - comfortable overall, though I did get a bit uncomfortable when Norwich started lobbing those high balls in right at the end. Nice 4 point gap from Chelsea now What was that about them being 3rd going into 2012?
A win against Swansea would be massive, now. We really need to keep ticking over like this. 12 wins in the last 15 is quite something, though.
From the BBC live feed: Infostrada Sports on Twitter: "Tottenham have won more points (38) from their last 15 #EPL matches than Man City and Man United from theirs (both 36)." Form team.
intresting stat last 15 games (basically ignore the first 2 against the mancs) spurs 38 points city 36 points united 36 points if that isnt title challenging form then any tw@t who mocks us can suk some wood COYS!!!!
i typed it before we scored..whislt we were being tippy tappy and norwich were being direct so i wont edit it you just make sure next time your here on time
Don't know what harry done formation wise but we played some stunning football today. The whole team oozed class. Maybe we have found the balance needed without lennon.
He switched Modric back into the middle and moved van der Vaart into a slightly wider role, I think. Parker and the Dutchman seemed to be alternating in moving down the right, though they were both still quite central. Norwich's openness helped us quite a lot, I think.
it was Norwich's openess as you put it PNP that allowed us to play the way we did..its simple against a footballing team..give them room and time and they will rip you another one...and that is what happened..all credit to Norwich though as they were not willing to sit back and fight for a point againt better teams we dont have such freedom...last decent team we played was chelsea and that was no stroll
The formation was 3 in the centre, Ade up front and VDV and Bale in free roles behind. According to Harry after the game.
Walker must be the best RB in the country his defensive play has improved no end.Great game today just a shame we didn't have our shooting boots on or we could of had a hat full. I assume Bale got MoTM? His 2nd goal was unreal his pace must make defenders s*** themselves.
do we ever really have our shooting boots on Pat? compared to the amount of chances we do create i mean
I've been slated on the Norwich board for suggesting they could go down. I thought they were really poor.
They're 11th, King. A bit harsh. Liverpool were worse and they're 6th. Can't see them going down. One performance doesn't mean a team is doomed. I think that they'll struggle against the better sides, but beat the worse ones. Their style of football suits us, but probably not some of the more defensive sides.
Before the season I was tipping them to go down (with Blackburn and QPR) based on their last six games being games they'd be lucky to pick up point in. Now Id revise that, as they look more likely to win against Villa and Everton, so as long as they have a run of wins in March (which is possible) they'll stay up. Blackburn and QPR won't, and I think Bolton would need to loan in half a dozen prospects from the top clubs to dig themselves out of their hole.
I thought you lot looked class today, we had a few chances because we always play so aggressively, but otherwise only Man City were in as much control against us. Bale was the huge difference and I thought Kaboul had our strikers generally under control. And with two of the best full-backs in the league your defence looks tighter than a cat's arse. Area for improvement is only your finishing, but I suppose it might have been a once off and didn't really matter today... I like your football and really hope you finish above the Manchester clubs. Fortunately for us, 0-2 is no humiliation and these sorts of matches don't really define our season unless we pull off a stunner. Hopefully we can put up a bit of a better fight in the return game.
