Heh, I'll have a watch of MOTD and see if I change my mind From the 30 seconds at the end we normally get, it's unlikely I'll glean any new information though...
roll on january that all i will say, apart from leon who tried to go forward the rest can be bench warmers for new better at going forward players, we need another forward and defender and we will be ok..
Sorry to disappoint you Scott - but no MotD tonight - guess the BBC thought that it wasn't worth it as Arsenal were the only team playing today that they actually give a toss about!
Well done my team. Proud of all the players. We more than held our own and with a bit of luck could have won. To the QPR players, well done. Proud of ya all.
Good point for us because we were there for the taking. We've been **** lately. I thought we were in for a hiding today. On this performance its clear both teams need to strengthen or relegation will be a real possibility. Don't know about you guys but us Rrrrrrsss fans are quietly confident our problems will be resolved next month.
A very dull affair, by both teams, Swansea were the better team first half, then QPR were the better team second half, I even thought we might lose the game second half, man we are shocking in front of goal, of late, do our boys need a drugs test or what!................. please log in to view this image
TBH...I don't remember you having loads of missed chances Dragon. Creating chances....that's your problem. Anyway Swans.....good luck for the rest of the season boys!!
we have a bunch of one game wonders ....its a shame they cant play more than one game before reverting back to league one/championship standard....
We have no one in the team up front, or in the midfield for that matter, that has the guts to take a shot from outside the box, and Moore had opportunities second half and bottled it twice, the only guy we have that has the guts to shoot outside the box, has been nailed to our subs bench all bloody season, and yet he was one of our best player's at Wembley, scoring the best gaol too! Come on Rodgers, give Dobbie a chance will you.................. please log in to view this image
Rangers were the away team. they`re aim was to play for the draw or try for the win if possible. It`s down to the home side to create more chances than the away side. Until we create more chances the only way we are going is downwards. You don`t create chances by going backwards, unless it`s an own goal. By the end of the game we were lucky to come away with a draw, QPR certainly had the better of the second half & arguably should have won the game. If we had a striker who knew where the goal was (Dobbie), we could have been two or three up in the first half, if we did`nt piss about so much in midfield & get the ball up quicker into the oppo`s area. Well deserved point by the R`s.
I can't argue with that Swanseye! Fair and well balanced, and a cracking profile pic too! I do like to see the way Swansea pass it around, it's really impressive the way the players always find each other, but you've got to stick it in the back of the net at the end of the day. A draw was a fair result IMO.
When the camera was on the Swansea dugout Dobbie didn't look a happy chappy to me. Bet Holloway would like him back at B'pool come january... Have to say Augustien looked quite good, could be the real deal.
Was at the game and thought a draw was fair. Im dissapointed with this result non the less, we will not stay up playing like that. simples
Allen to the bench for a game to get those sudden saucer sized eyes focused , Taylor back to the left , Jazz back to the right , Agustien back to the middle with Britton & Moore , Graham keep doing the same & we will have our first big club " Shock " win next game ..... hopefully . P'S.I'm not against Gower instead of Moore though
My word. And I must say, what an absolutely splendid thread. Fabulous technique from scottswan, he's an incredible poster, I have to say. Ubers foresight has been exceptional today. While crackerjacks posts really covered some ground today, it's been first-class. I'm a tad worried for both sides this season though, but this is the best league in the world, that's why wonderful players come here. I must say, my word, two great managers , I've had the pleasure of meeting them both. Lovely chaps, they do a lot for charity, exceptional, my word.
Crackerjack is our old mate seabreeze, what's with the name change mucker? I see that we had 45% of the possession today, which is more that most at the liberty if guess?
Err... Uncle Fester? Must say, I've rarely seen such a well balanced thread (though us and Toon was good fun too). As for the game. Two sides who can already compete - but know what they each have to do to get better and survive.
You are sooo right about the rugby comparison Scott. Never occurred to me. Wales and Swans on the sweet stuff and England and Rs more about wrecking... Can't argue with that at all.
