Do we expect to see any comings and goings?

Mikael Lustig is on his way to bolster the defence. Lennon has spoken of his desire to bring in a CF with Diawara being a distinct possibility.

He's also talked about bringing in another CB.

Khaddouri will be away. No great loss. Hooiveld has already gone. I see Murphy is, ahem, banging in the goals for Ipswich (one goal!). Can't see any bids coming in for him.

What about Samaras? The club was obviously keen to move him on in the summer but has his recent good form changed that? Or does it mean the Board will be looking for an extra million on the transfer fee?

Niall McGinn is still Celtic daft but he could get us a small fee. Last year of his contract an' all.

Can someone tell me a bit about Lustig?

    satan evil twin.
I am surprised you have not more to say about Sameras.
I remember the time you had spectacular hatred for him. No one was ever as bad as Sammy
and now without even been at a match, you are starting to warm to him.
Who will take over as your all time most useless now. We value your opinion
greatly as you are always wrong.

I know as little as you, but I did see a Swedish journalist on Twitter a while back saying that he a little surprised at the rags over here saying he could play in the centre of defence, and that the vast majority of his playing time for both Rosenborg and Sweden has been spent at right back.

That is all I know too. I am delighted with the progress of Matthews. This lad'll need to go some to displace him.

Exactly that. The guy is never a centre half. And as I mentioned before on this board, he is not the greatest defender either, but pretty good going forward.

Attacking full backs are something that work well with our style of play, but it is hard to see him walking into the team at the expense of Matthews, who has been excellent.

I can tell you with good authority that Murphy is feckin useless. There will be no bids for him. As for Celtic, I would like to see us make a couple of quality loan signings including a keeper.

You worry about your other nine teams , leave Celtic problems to people that actually support Celtic. I read a comments on Sunderland v Everton game , if that game is from the best league in the world , he wouldn't like to see one from the worst, then after that you had Stoke v villa which was truelly appalling

harryhood, I am just as much a Celtic supporter as you so don't try a pretend otherwise. All leagues have bad games but statistically the EPL has more goals than other leagues. La Liga has some truely deadful games. The difference with the EPL is that the poor games are fewer because they are more competitive teams who can compete. Mourinho has again stated his desire recently to return to the biggest league in the world. he's bored of only having 2 competitive games a season and wants a challenge. His ego also means he wants to manage on the world stage.
