quiet on here so i thought i would post an article early doors about wed. pretty sure they will appeal mccullough red and expect to see him elbows and all in their midfield. i also expect the pie man to instruct his charges to kick **** out of everyhting that moves in green. Forrest to get extra special attention

i think the team will be as follows

    lurch
    cha K Wilson mulgrew ledley
    forrest brown wanyama kayal
    sammi
    hooper

    any thoughts ?

Agree with your line up. The tide has definitely turned. Rangers have blown a big lead and they won't recover from that psychologically. If we win on Wed, and I think we will, the title is ours.

I'm not half as confident going into this game as some Celtic fans. I remember last February when the Huns were going to give us a doing and we came away from Ibrox with a 2-0 victory.

Think Rangers will come flying out the blocks and try and get an early goal. We need to guard against that. Need to get Sammy and Forrest running at their FB's.

Think your starting XI is about right.

Prefer Ledley in midfield , mulgrew left back , we improved on Saturday when we got Ledley further up the park . Their biggest weakness is Whittaker defending ,got to play on that

usually when i am confident going into a game we get our arse kicked. i think it will be a really tough game. will be watching it sober as it is on at 4am in Perth, not something i am accustomed too

First post here, glad to be aboard!:emoticon-0103-cool:

My team would probably be about the same as the OP, though I too would like to see Ledley back in midfield if we enough cover at the back. Can't see Lennon dropping Ki though, reckon Wanyama will stay in defence allowing him to retain his place in midfield.

As for the McCulloch appeal, he's little more than another option for them, I wouldn't be at all bothered to see him playing.

Agree with espania, need more people posting to get some debate going on. kenny clark thinks they have appealed the elbows mccullough incident so he can play on wed, surely rangers would never stoop so low...

No idea at all. Anyone who falls out with me is either wrong, or a racist. Or a combination of the two.

I have been reading about Francois de La Rochefoucauld as a result of a question on University Challenge. He's a great man for a quote. I like most of them. One has been causing me problems though "No persons are more frequently wrong, than those who will not admit they are wrong". Either I am occasionally mistaken, or everybody else is wrong too.

There should be an independent internet arguments commission to sort this **** out.

    Immediately preceded by:

The passions are the only orators that always persuade.

Journalist Graham Hunter tweeted the other day
"Do you think Pep Guardiola ever said 'knock it long'."

Undoubtedly the best fitba journo from Scotland.....and he is in Spain.

I can't blame them for doing it, we'd have done the same if the shoe had been on the other foot. The blame for this lies squarely with the SFA's supposedly improved fast-track system. If found guilty (and I can't see how he won't be), any punishment should be increased based on this frivolous appeal.
