Okay, so Boxing Day is a big day for the Prediction League! The dreaded cut off between Divisions 1 and 2 will occur after the Watford game, with the top 20 becoming Division 1 and the rest becoming Division 2 (the numbers will sort out eventually! ) The motivation behind this is that there will be more to compete for, instead of just a race, there will now be promotion and relegation! So this is your guide if you’re lucky enough to be involved in Survival Monday! Very Safe (bluebird_nat, irishbluebird, GLAMorgan, Captain Hook_ccfc, The Masked Man, Siambluebird, isawronnymoorescore, cvdbluebird, bissmit, Blue Sheep, ccfcremotesupport and Blue Prophet) If your name is in this group, you’ve done enough to secure a First Division place for the rest of the season, i.e. got 15 points or more this season. Well Done! Already Relegated (concernedincardiff2011, ccfcrtOp, Blueforever123, Boy in Blue, Superswan999, Xsnaggle, danablu, blueturk the cat, Koreanbluebird, mustyfrog and Swamp.) If your name is in this group you are already confined to Division 2. I do realise some of you haven’t predicted the entire season but for the rest of you, the predicting has not been accurate enough! Your aim is to now try and get promotion! That leaves a maximum of 8 places available in Division 1! Almost There! (Taffthefish, BLUEBIRDS and ThaiCanary) These lucky three, just a point to guarantee complete safety and if they don’t, it is unlikely that enough people will get Correct Scores to overtake them. So Well Done but not quite yet! Need a Correct Score! (Master Betty, BluefromBridgend, domdimdomdim and privatebenjamin) All four of you need a Correct Score to stand a chance of getting into Division 1! Good Luck with that! Just Clinging On! (Milford Bluebird, H-bomb, Rhondda54_DJ, GhostOfNinian and sayer77) Nail biting stuff these five. Only 1 point away from the cut off but a Correct Score could see them too safety. But that will be dependent on how many of the next group get Correct Scores! Sayer is currently bottom and in theory Milford stands the best chance of surviving but they could all be relegated or all could survive  So Close but So Far… (The Exile, Unibrumbluebird, Oldsparkey and SussexBlue) The last group are the very unlucky ones! A point would see them into Division 1 but depending on results elsewhere it could not. One thing is for certain – they need points in one shape or another! So that is the state of play going into the big game on Monday. This thread will become a live thread where I will keep you updated on the goings on in the Prediction League. Thanks for the update Bluesheep. Please to hear I'm safe. I've been so excited about the league, I can't sleep. Or is that because it's nearly Crimbo? Hoping for 6 points over the festive period for me which will mean 6 points for the Bluebirds. Thanks for running the show.

There will be promotion and relegation at the end of this season. So all is not lost if you finish in Division 2
HT 0-0, so no changes in the league. Seems pretty even from what I can tell, we've had some good chances but havn't converted any yet.
Oh dear........ On the brighter side, I only need us to score 3 to get my prediction right...I think that's what I predicted anyhow???
Correct Scores for ccfcrtOp and superswan99 are not enough to see them into the top division and blueturk the cat claimed a solitary point for his 2-2 effort, but that was not enough either. ccfcrtOp missed out by a point
