    BBC gossip column reporting Keane putting in £2m bid for Johnson to help Blackburn.

    "Blackburn will offer Fulham striker Andy Johnson, 30, a £2m pay deal to help them secure their Premier League status."

    However, that is Daily Mirror. More inclined to believe CB than that lot!!

    If these come off as CB says it would be nothing short of spectacular for the club and it's hopes of staying in the prem. I just hope it's true. I can't believe some on here are actually turning their noses up at the prospect! Incredible.

    like Harry!-everything he sais i just asume the opposite is true..

    i am stuck down in Devon with a load of ******ed bumpkins and no trains back to London today..
    no Sky Sports either!
    never leaving West London again..

    but that would still be a win for al parties: defeo gets a chance to get a place in England Euro squad, we geta proven premier league goal scorer (maybe with a chance to sign him permanently if we stay up) and spuds geta chance to "advertise" a player for sale.

    In all fairness TBGWTDT this 'Done deal' for Defoe started off as an £8-10m deal which CB agreed with on that thread. Now it seems to be a loan. Don't start giving him a way out because what will come after a 'loan'? Will it be 'Agreed but something happened'?
