I'm concerned that so far he has not looked any better than Sebo did. Hopefully i'll be proved wrong but I think we may have been sold a pup.

I think Banjura had his best outing for Celtic today. He won a few headers and held up procession well. To my mind he didn't seem out of place and could be very useful. He needs a goal. Just give him time, remember there were idiots on here who mocked and sneered at Sammy every time he played. Celtic fans happy to join with bears to ridicule their own player. Sammy has been our best player for the last 10 or so matches by a country mile.
His best outing? What game were you watching hoops? He was bad to awful today. He has no first touch by the looks of things, little in the way of pace and is poor in the air for a big man, not things even Sammy's harshest critics could say of him.

Yeah, ok... He was awful! Everyone, even uber fans like yourself, should be able to see that he is awful and doesn't appear to be settling in! Ok, Sammy has stepped up his performances recently - that's all we fans have ask for - this level of effort in every match/consistant performances. Unfortunatley, he has been incapable of consitancy - especilay earlier this season. He was simply woeful at times. However, if he can keep this up from now til Celtic win the league then, we will all be happy! Unplayable today. Hope he takes into the Huns game.
The criticism of Samaras was always tempered by the fact that we know exactly what he is capable of. The only piece of unfair criticism he got was that he went hiding. I don't think I have seen a player anywhere ever that hides less than him. Bangura has shown only one occasion, the game he played in yoorup that he understands the idea of making runs and pulling folk about the place. I am starting to think that was an accident. His touch is poor, his decision making is poor and the lines he ran today were only ok at best. Stokes gets caught offside rather regularly but today Bangura ran offside from a free kick when were under pressure today. If anything had happened as a result of such an elementary error, fingers would have been pointed and rightly so. That **** is not good enough. This wasn't his best showing. I am concerned about him settling. I am concerned that he doesn't know what he is doing and at the age of 22(37) he should at least be aware of his position on the field.
It does just - doesn't it..... but I understand where you're coming from. We want to see every one of the players playing at the top of their game and of course winning all the games in style! Perfection, though is hard to come by so think we should settle for winning every game.....! I've always believed that the criticism of Georgios Samaras was a bit harsh although I understood the frustration - but I never ever saw him hide in any game. In any case, it's just great to see him come good. Long may that continue, although I believe he's struggling with a virus at the moment...perhaps we should keep him infected with it if he can keep playing like he did today! As for Mohamed Bangura, I know he doesn't seem to have gelled as quickly as others but it can't be easy coming on in fits and starts - I still think it's very early days though and I for one, will reserve judgement for a while longer.
I am not writing him off, but the signs are not great. I hope the best for him and maybe now isn't the time for being hyper critical.
