Wareham's a decent place with a fair few pubs. My old five-a-side team do a pub crawl there once a year.

Not too much drinking for me this year, my wife's expecting in June and my mates reminded us that I said I'd cut back to 4 units a week to match the limit my wife would have. I think I said at the time that my birthday and Xmas would have a, slightly, higher limit.

My local, in the village, had Deuchars IPA, Cottage Whippet Santa Pause and a little Cambridge microbrewery bitter. Landlady kept going into the kitchen and reappearing with plates of Yorkshire puddings, that her partner - the chef - was making. Woodstove chucking out heat; good ol' boys chucking down beer.

    Simple but good.

All the best to all of you.

I think i'll save my works outing (only me unfortunately) until new years eve. My nearest (decent) bar is about 3 miles away, won't D&D, the Guardia Civil will be out in force.
I will be drinking all night and chatting to the locals about oranges and asparagus more than likely. Our lass can pick me up the following morning, bless her!!!!

So I didn't report back last night on the Ouzo/Water tipple.

I'd gone too long without a drink and tiredness set in. I was in bed by 9.30. I am **** at this drinking thing now.

Might partake in the local Mexican tipple-tequilla but only after I hope a great day kitesurfing. Lots of wind here today so hope I dont get battered like a pinada.
All the best to City Supporters everywhere.

Had my work's sess yesterday - spent afternoon in Kingston on Thomas Street - not celubrious I know but its near work and it was p*ssing down so didn't get to Princes Ave as I'd hoped.

Got taxi into town and went in Vodka Revolutions and Walters. Old Town started getting busy with younger element so left by 8-30 by which time I was tanked up anyway.
