I can exclusively reveal that Chris Powell has gone against the wishes of his chairman. The opinion congr the board was that the players ought to make the trip down to Devon on Christmas day...

However, Powell cited the importance of the players spending this special day with their families. They will now make the trip early doors on the day of the game.

Lets hope the players repay their manager for his act of charity...

As far as I know, you have to get a mod to do it.

Easiest drive down of the entire year this morning, nothing on the road at all - unbelievable!

Just got back from seeing my Mum and had an early present opening session because my brother and sister are both working tomorrow. Florence and the Machine and the new Jack Reacher novel - yee-hah!

    Starting to finally feel Christmassy.

Very magnanimous gesture from CP, but the drive to Yeovil is an absolute cow.

    In Chrissy (mas) we trust...

    Merry Christmas to you all.

I awoke this morning to the most horrendous ear infection. Sat in the walk-in clinic for two hours, only to be given a prescription that no chemist within a ten mile radius stocks. The day could have been much better, but I shall remain in a jolly Crimbo mood for the wife and nippers.

Leaving for Yeovil at 7am on Monday. If anyone wants a lift, let me know by tomorrow night.

Franco it's Somerset not Devon, only I know a few Somerset people who are very proud of their county.

It is, C4E - love this series and this is a prequal to the first one, Killing Floor.

Heard something truly bizarre the other day. They've finally signed contracts to turn Killing Floor into a movie. And who's going to play the 6' 5", 250 pound Jack Reacher? Yes, you guessed it - TOM CRUISE!

What the hell's he going to do - stand on a box? Mind you, it always worked for Alan Ladd, except when his leading ladies stood in a trench...

    Rubber shoes, AllHell?

You haven't been hiding your copies of Latex Lovelies well enough, have you? <laugh>

Cracking day today, Mum was really well and demolished her Christmas dinner - as soon as Dad's off to bed, I'm going to start working my way through my new Father Ted box set. <ok>

As I'm not doing the trip to Yeovil for the first time tomorrow, decided to go to Welling vs Dartford, should be a cracker.

Hope everyone's had a great day.

I read the first 3 chapters at the end of worth dieing for.

The books get better as they go on, reading them in random order. Do you have a favourite Tewks?
